Easy to get around town - nice house. Just FYI - one of the bedrooms is in the basement. My son was brave enough to stay down there by himself but if you have little ones that need their own space but need to be close to you this house might be great for that.

We came to Salt Lake City to ski for a month. This craftsman bungalow was close to all the ski resorts on our Ikonpass. The home was generously stocked and had all the equipment we needed to prepare meals, including spices. The beds were comfortable and the main shower (in claw foot tub) has a great deluge shower head. There are fun games and lots of books in the built in cabinets. And, we were within a mile of downtown SLC with its restaurants and bars. I definitely recommend Jan’s place!

My co-workers and I stayed in this beautiful home during our convention at the Salt Palace. It’s only about a mile away and a quick Uber ride. Jan was great and answered amy questions we had. We will definitely consider this home when we visit Salt Lake next year for our convention!

Really cute bungalow in Marmalade district of Capitol Hill. Walk to restaurants and bars downtown. Really nice original accents and furnishings in the house.

Marmalade House is a beautiful house, and we fell in love with it. It has clearly been furnished with loving attention to detail, and it made an incredible and comfortable home away from home for us. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back! The owners are helpful and so easy to work with.

We were exhibitors at a convention at the Salt Palace Convention Center. There were 4 of us and this house was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own space and was very close to the convention center. That really was convenient as we were all very tired by the end of this convention. Jan and Dave were great to work with. If we are ever in this area again in need of a house . . . this would be the one!

We loved staying here. The house was very attractive; authentic details were retained while all of the appliances, etc. were modern and functional. The shower in the main bathroom was great; a clawfoot tub with a super shower with great pressure and plenty of consistent hot water. All of the little necessities like salt & pepper, DW detergent, laundry detergent, etc. were thoughtfully provided. The beds were very comfortable. You could easily park two cars off street, although we only had one. Jan was very responsive and checked in by phone to make sure everything was ok. The location was really convenient as well. There are a couple of small parks close by, one of which (I think it is North Gateway park) has a warm spring and brook, which was interesting. We enjoyed a self-guided tour of the Capitol, which is fairly close by and a lovely historic building. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to the area.

This property was very convenient to the Convention and other Events we attended the week we were in Salt Lake. Jeannette, was quick to reply when we had a concern and addressed it quickly. The house was clean and well appointed. I would stay at this property again in the future. I am not giving this property a 5 star because the living room is in need of additional seating. The couch is comfortable and fine for a couple but if the house is full with 6 people there needs to be a couple of comfortable chairs. That being said the beds were very comfortable, an important factor to me. Joyce

We enjoyed our stay here! We were comfortable and felt as if we were at home. I love the older style of the home, along with the newly remodeled portions as well. Instructions were easy to follow for check in and check out proceedures. Only down side was the mattress downstairs for my sister and her husband. It was not comfortable and the plastic cover caused night sweating. Other than that it was a great stay!
