    This accommodation has the potential to be unique and charming. However the property was not clean. One of my priorities. At first glance it passed cleanliness but it had an underlying grime. The utensils in the kitchen had been put away dirty. The floors in the bathrooms had grey grout that should have been white. It just looked shabby. The linens were questionable although they had an over powering smell of dryer sheets or? The downstairs bedroom and entrance hall had a weird odour, very strong, almost like car exhaust. The beds were comfortable but we wondered if we should be washing the sheets before we used them. The little house itself was cute and could be much more appealing if cleaned properly and a few updated touches like new blinds. The location was convenient to a bus directly into Glasgow. There was a funky chippy shop, Tina’s, directly across the street, the only place for several blocks, run by a very nice and charming man.Good fish and chips. I would not necessarily recommend this accommodation.
