As you explore this wildlife-rich region, you may spot seals basking on the rocks, or bobbing their heads out of the sea. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (14 miles) will be a hit with children, as will the theme park at Watermouth Castle (11.5 miles). Adventure seekers might like to try coasteering at Watermouth Cove (11.5 miles). Ilfracombe''s Victorian fishing harbour (8 miles) offers dolphin-watching tours and boat trips to Lundy Island, an unspoilt paradise where puffins live on the cliff tops.
