The check in process was easy -- and I was grateful it was ready when I landed at noon -- and the property manager was super responsive when we had a maintenance issue. They sent an efficient, kind handyman to fix it within the hour. The property itself is clean and well maintained. NoLA is a beautiful, complicated place and this neighborhood is rapidly gentrifying. There were some unhoused folks sleeping on the ground next door and a nearby abandoned building draws a crowd at night I decided to avoid. I stayed as a woman alone with a small dog and was fine but, just like traveling anywhere, be aware of your surroundings and respectful of the people living in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Cute, clean and quiet place down further from the excitement of the French Quarters and Bourbon St. Access to public transportation was great especially since it was our first trip. You get to see more when someone else is doing the driving. And having a fenced in yard was great for our dog Chubby who made a friend with the guests dog in the other unit.

Property was clean. Only issue we had was the two nights we stayed, we had to kill multiple cockroachs. typical New Orleans has no private parking. We had to park in front of the house which is on a very busy street. Host responded to our concerns.

I was in this property for about 10 days while my house was being renovated. While it's okay for a short stay,I would not recommend it for longer.Cons: The backyard is not actually fully fenced- there are several open spots that just have short plastic gates in front of them, and the door to the yard from the street does not close. You'll need to stay outside with your dogs and even still mine were able to get out. Smaller dogs could definitely get around the gates and under the house. I'd also like if the house included poop bags, I brought my own and cleaned up after my dogs, but the yard was full of trash (broken glass, roof tiles, cigarette butts) and old dog poop. Inside the alcove where the washer/dryer sits has a TON of lint piled up in the corner. The fans and tops of the windows were also covered in a pretty thick layer of dust. The mattresses are also quite uncomfortable- like sleeping on a futon.Pros: The rest of the house was relatively clean. I am a local and familiar with the neighborhood, so I knew Franklin Ave. gets a little busy. The neighbors on either side were kind and introduced themselves, and it was very easy to park right outside of the house. Coffee and a tea kettle were provided, along with some pots and pans and a knife block.

I know we left the backyard cleaner than we found it, but at least there was a yard.Location relative to areas of interest were a little disingenuous. Being close to a street and being near someplace of interest on that street are two big differences. No dishwasher kinda wasn’t mentioned, but overall good, clean, but slowest hot water for a place that size (the more faucets you run, the faster you’ll get hot water).Felt relatively secure, but that might have been my 2 Rottweilers with me and having Uber to get to those pesky areas of interest. We’ve stayed in worse, we’ve stayed in better. In a couple years, once a few others get redone on the street, bring the kids. Until then …. I’d come back with my two large-boned Rotties.I love seeing new parts of the city that I’ve missed in many previous visits. I just wish the location had been clearer.

It was unseasonably cold during our visit and we never got the house warm during that time frame. Cold air was coming up through the floor cracks- you could see daylight through the floor cracks. I would probably recommend some skirting around house (exposed under house) and maybe some sealing under floors. That would probably help in the summer months for cooling as well. Had an outdoor space in the back, but no chairs or anything to sit on. Lights in back porch laundry area were out, so was dark. Owner did allow us to stay a bit longer as we had time to kill before going to airport. It was too cold to go sight seeing that morning before we left town. Property was clean and simple. Not a lot of extra amenities in the house. Reading lamps in bedrooms would be a good suggestion as well.

The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. Was about a 30 minute walk to the French Quarter. There is a little market a couple blocks away with coffee and food that is extraordinary. Thank you!

Just left staying at this cute little shotgun home. The home is in a perfect location to everything with a great price. Other reviews mentioned it being noisy since it was on a main road but it wasn't bad at all. You can hardly hear any noise in other parts of home (besides the living room and even there it wasn't bad). The neighborhood is safe. New Orleans is an old city so some areas that may not seem safe are actually very safe. Note the closest grocery store is a few minute walk (Robert's Fresh Market) to grab a few things. The Street Car stop is a few minute walk. Overall the stay was perfect. The property managers are quick to respond to any messages and are very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The beds were hard at time we were there the back road was all tore up from construction. The neighborhood was kind of run down. The house next was literally falling apart. The kitchen is extremely small. Not that far from downtown but wouldn't drive the road have lots of pot holes same with the sidewalks.
