Great kitchen. Fireplace was super cozy. Nice and clean and perfect for our short stay.

The location is amazing! Quietly nestled in the woods with the lake access right across the street. Cana Lighthouse is at the end of the road and great restaurants are less than 10 minutes away in Baileys Harbor. Sister Bay felt so close too! The house was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. We especially loved that the family room had cozy seating for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed our snowy weekend getaway!

House was Beautiful!! We really enjoyed the fireplace and playing games at the large family table. The view of the lake is great and awesome that they are pet friendly the pup really enjoyed herself.

We loved our relaxing fall getaway to Chris and Robin‘s Cana Island cabin. It was a perfect location to get away from the crowds of Door County and we appreciated the peaceful and private surroundings. The layout of the cabin worked great for us with having three bedrooms and three bathrooms. My husband and daughter enjoyed early morning walks on the nicely, paved roads. It was so great to be able to have our dogs with us as well. We would totally return to this lovely cabin!

What a spectacular stay. Everything was just perfect! We enjoyed the beautiful beach access, and the sunrise view on the water was breathtaking. The location is the perfect balance of quiet and tucked away, with the convenience of places to shop and dine anywhere from a few minutes to a half hour drive away. The home was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and very cozy. If we are back to Door County, we will definitely look to stay here again!

We had a great family vacation. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Young, old, and canine enjoyed their stay.

The house and location were perfect for our family of four although the house could have easily accommodated a much larger group. It is a stunning house and an equally beautiful location so close to the Cana Island lighthouse on a quiet calm bay. We loved using the kayaks every morning and the close access to nearby state and county parks for hiking, more kayaking, and swimming. We took advantage of the well-equipped kitchen for breakfast and lunch and ate dinners out every night in the nearby towns. We didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful house with plenty of space. Great location with the lake in full view and a one minute walk. Easy drive to the DC towns.

Property was exactly as listed. My husband enjoyed walking to the Cana Island lighthouse and found the Lake clean and invigorating at the beach area on the walk to the lighthouse.

Well maintained, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, beautiful wooded lot and area with view and access to the cove near Cana Island lighthouse. We enjoyed the kayaks, public beach which seemed private in May, fire pit in the evening, star gazing at night.Would recommend.

My husbad, son, and parents relaxed and enjoyed family time at the beautiful house. The view is beautiful, the fireplace offered warmth! Outstanding!

The house is nice however you have to cross a street to access the beach/ dock &fire pit which was stressful with kids when cars are zooming by. The rental agreement was impossible to find until after you make the non refundable purchase and it says you are responsible for washing the linens, cleaning the kitchen appliances fridge etc before check out at 10 am. Check in is at 4. All despite the cleaning fee you pay -this violates VRBO’s terms and conditions. Dog poop on the lawn as well. The rental agreement also says hand towels and body wash are provided however they were not and when I messaged the host he said only dish towels are provided (there is 1). I had to use the laundry machine at one point and there was barely any laundry detergent which I knew I had to save for check out/ linen washing. The nearest target/walmart is over 30 miles away so you can’t easily run out and find stuff. There is also no cell reception in this area until you drive away for a little bit. The kitchen is a collection of stuff no one wants but lacks practical things you actually need. 3 functional bowls but 9 super scratched up old non stick fry pans which are no longer non stick. Also 3 toasters and decorative bowls and plates which are not practical. The grill stopped working at one point and we were instructed just to change the propane take ourselves. We enjoyed our time here but the added stress and lack of amenities would prevent me from booking again.

We had a nice place at this property. When they say bring towels they mean all types of towels as there were not even hand towels in the bathroom or anything in the kitchen. There were not any cleaning supplies provided either. Wish the area by the water was a little more leveled off around the firepit. Overall it was a great place to stay, far from the hustle and bustle but close enough to anywhere you would want to go explore. I would definitely recommend the properties to others.

This is what the 'quiet side' of Door County is all about. Tucked into the side of Boreal Forest while also facing the quiet shores of Spike Horn Bay, this home is absolutely majestic in every way! Spacious, windows everywhere, large decks & porches, and the BEST fireplace situation & Set up that we've every experienced.

Very quiet area, beautiful view, nice home.

The home and location are beautiful! We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the nice weather, surrounded by the trees and gorgeous view of the water and Cana Island. Many amazing wildlife sightings, including a mature bald eagle! We appreciated being able to have our pups along with us, and my husband and son really appreciated the Starlink connection for getting some of their work done remotely in the mornings.

Wonderful time exploring Door County. Location of property was remote with a quiet beach nearby. Biked around neighborhood. Bay water very clear but shallow. Couldn’t put the kayaks in safely.

We had a great time at this property. We had 5 adults and an 18 month year old. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area was more than adequate for us. The gas grill was a little dated, but worked very well. The bedrooms were comfortable and the family room accommodated us well. Our granddaughter loved the little nook under the stairs - it was her little spot. The water was right across the street and the sand beach was a short walk away. We've been renting cottages in Northern Wisconsin and wanted to try something a little different this year. Door County has always been a favorite and our kids hadn't been back there in 20 years. Our host Chris, was very responsive to questions we had before our stay as well as our checkout. Highly recommend this property!

The views from the front deck are absolutely beautiful. Despite the shoreline being too rocky for swimming, there is a beautiful beach less than 1/2 mile down the road. We watched gulls, turns, and pelicans from the property dock listening to all of the songbirds from the deck or screen porch . The layout of the home works beautifully for a group of 5. Could easily be comfortable for more. The owner is extremely pleasant to work with! Genuinely wants to assure people using the home are comfortable. This home was wonderful central location for going to different sightseeing and hiking sites in Door County.
