We had a fantastic time celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary with our family in this perfect wedding house. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. Lots of games, plus sledding, to keep the kids happy, and a wonderful space for family meals and being cozy together. Thanks for sharing this magical house with us!

Everyone in our family were very happy with the house and location. Great for dining and entertaining. Hosts were very friendly and accommodative to our needs. Only glitch was VRBO messed up the billing, but the hosts cleared it up for us. Caught the first white crappie of my life!

Charming old property great for large families with children.

This was a return trip after our first stay last year. The house fit 12 adults very comfortably. The view of the river is spectacular. Having two large tables we can all gather at for meals was wonderful. The yard is spacious, there is a large fire pit for sitting around the fire, and an easy access sand shoreline for launching a kayak. The host has all the information needed and provides contact numbers. Another year of memories!!

The owners were great and super responsive. Wonderful property and location.

River view was beautiful. Fishing not good, lake & river was great for tubing & boating. Kitchen fully stocked, although needs an empty cabinet for food. Beds and couches were comfortable.

Had a phenomenal weekend celebrating my brothers engagement. House was plenty big enough to host 13 of us with a huge backyard and beds for everyone.Airconditioning worked very well too in what have otherwise been a very toasty few days. Would definitely stay here again

Property was well stocked, good location, great communication with hosts and generous with arrival time, and even decorated a bit for Christmas. We had had a variety of ages and family stages and found the bedroom sleeping arrangements a bit challenging, despite having enough beds. Some bedrooms were located though other rooms and made bathrooms difficult to access in the middle of the night without disturbing others. One of our family members wanted noted that they found several stink bugs in their room. All other spaces seemed clean and well cared for with plenty of towels and reasonable checkout list. Would stay again if we had different family situation for sleeping options.

We had an awesome time during our stay … my husband and I hosted our kids & grand kids to celebrate our Christmas!! So many great memories made!!

We enjoyed this rental with 18 guests, and still had plenty of space for not only sleeping comfortably, but also plenty of common space to get together and unwind!

Stayed here for my sister's wedding that was nearby and had a wonderful stay - plenty of baby/toddler gear already in the house for my little one and a great swing set! Owners were great communicators and had an overall great experience!

The cabin is massive, with a beautiful wood burning fireplace and the dining room area faces a beautiful river. This place is so relaxing, clean, beautiful and the hosts are 10/10 all the time!

The property was as beautiful as the pictures show. Expansive windows to the porch allowed us to see the River all day. Two full size tables gave our group of 13 opportunity to have meal’s together and play games at night. The lawn was ideal for a “bags” tournament. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. An easy sanding launch for a kayak/canoe. Communication with Elyse was top-notch. Very helpful, quick to response and really wanted our experience to be special. We are already planning a return next year. You wouldn’t be disappointed renting this place.

Tons of beds and room! Owners were wonderful to communicate with. Beautiful location on the river. This was our second time here and we will be back!

Large home with plenty of room for my big family. Unfortunate that the river was so high so we couldn't rent a pontoon. Driveway was super steep so beware if you have a new driver. The host was warm and friendly. It was a hot weekend but all the rooms in the house were nice and cool. Close location to town which was very helpful. Beach area unavailable due to the river but we still fished and caught several catfish. A very nice home and we had a lovely family get together with my eight kids and three grandkids. The pool in the yard was a life saver for the smaller family members in our group.

We had plenty of space for family members to sleep and great dining space plus great basement games for kids to play. But there are some things you need to know: pictures of property showed a sandy beach but there is no beach area due to a retaining wall expanding the property at the river. The current is too strong to let children play in the river. We rented a pontoon boat from a company recommended by the owners but that company was 1.5 hours away and had no idea that the pontoon boat would not fit under the bridge that was between the boat launch and our rental property so we could not have a pontoon boat for our vacation. Also, no bedroom dressers, no closet in the main bedroom so storage was an issue for our week's stay. Be aware that the second floor bathroom is located between two bedrooms and is not accessible to the other bedrooms on that floor. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and quick to respond to questions.

This house is NOT as described. Pictures need updating as things look more worn and not as pretty in person. CLEANLINESS: listing states the home is professionally cleaned; large toenail was found in kitchen and dirty bedding one beds. We spent hours washing the bedding, vacuuming, cleaning, disinfecting. COMFORT: Beds upstairs sunk in the middle/were uncomfortable, mattress covers thin/torn. One mattress was sitting on the floor. Some pillows had yellow stains. Air conditioner upstairs did not cool making it hard to sleep. SAFETY: Overloaded outlets and an extension cord hanging to connect the microwave to an outlet. Damp basement/possible mold in the shower down there. Baby cribs have worn mattresses. BROKEN ITEMS: Main bathroom had broken toilet seat and leaky faucet. Upstairs toilet ran for an extended period after flushing. Stove/oven did not work. COMMUNICATION: I checked with the host week before arriving to see if the beach was usable due to rain/flooding, the host told me that they do not flood there. The beach was underwater; I would have appreciated an honest answer. OVERALL: Outdoor toys are dirty; life vests should be replaced. Hostas were trimmed, thrown in a pile in landscaping. Not much of an arcade. The host did reply to our list of problems and said some things were fixed after we left, but home should be checked over before each stay. We were refunded a small amount, but it was not acceptable. For the price per night, there are many better options.
