Stayed Feb 16, 2026Lovely accommodation, had everything we needed for a home from home feel. Its a great location near the city not too far a casual 20 minute stroll. Had a kids park a few minutes walk away which we loved.Only suggestion would be black out curtains or blinds in the bedroom for a more natural wake up.Loved the cosy high back chair sat n read for hours.Thankyou for a lovely break, would definitely return

Stayed Aug 3, 2022The property is very pleasant, it was clean and comfortable. The garden room at the rear was a lovely place to sit and read, it was sunny and warm. Bedrooms were well appointed and the beds were comfy. Being able to walk into York Town Centre and leaving the car behind is really useful- there's also a fair sized Co-op within walking distance, which is useful. On the main we had everything we needed although the cooking equipment is a bit limited- needs a couple of pyrex dishes or baking trays and a cafetière. Would recommend and would definitely visit again but would bring my cafetière with me!

Stayed May 28, 2022My 28 yr old son wanted to pursue Viking history, so a visit to York during Viking week was perfect. The accommodation was in a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to town. Grocery store nearby and house met our needs. We would stay there again.
