This was a great place for us to celebrate our (adult) kids' birthdays. Everyone had a bedroom and bathroom. The dining table was perfect for planning games. We were close enough to wineries and restaurants to feel like we could do all the things we wanted. Check in was super simple with good communication. Highly recommended.

This house was great for what we needed! Has plenty of bedroom and living space. Plenty of kitchen supplies bath towels and beach towels. Loved the small town feel away from the busy of the bigger towns and the drive to get to beaches and other tourist places was great! A little gas station/party store/mini grocery store right across the street was so convenient thanks for a great vacation in your home

This location had a large number of beds so everyone could spread out and that worked well. No complaints on the rooms except more closets would have been helpful since we were all going to a wedding and everyone had formal wear to hang up. The back bathroom and back room with a bed that was used did not have privacy curtains and we had to drape sheets over the windows. The front room also did not have enough curtains to cover all the windows so we felt a little exposed. However, since the residence is up for sale, I doubt the owner will be putting any upgrades to this house. I believe this is also why the kitchen was so poorly equipped for cooking -those melted utensils and heavily scratched non stick pans should be thrown out. Washing machine and dryer worked well. We arrived to find an overflowing garbage can around back but there was an empty second garbage pail that we were able to use.

House was as advertised. Clean and lots of room. Brothers and sisters all assembled for a wedding in Traverse City. Walking distance to Cedar Tavern, grocery store and coffee shop directly across the street.

From the outside the home doesn’t look like much but was very comfortable and accommodating for our group of 10 adults. We absolutely love the town and surrounding areas. Love that it is centrally located on the peninsula. We would stay here again for our annual cycling trip.

Overall, a nice experience. Skimpy on wash cloths and hand towels for bath rooms. Kitchen could use some more supplies. Good thing we didn’t really do any cooking. Nice area and convenient. Also, why wouldn’t you have shower curtain liners

This was a great property for our week-long family vacation. Everyone had plenty of room, and we liked the two sitting areas. The property had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, however although the kitchen was well stocked the absence of a dishwasher was noticeable when you have a large group staying together. The location was perfect. Cedar is a small town but everything was less than a minute's walk from the property - gas station, grocery store, Cedar Tavern for great food & pizza, coffee & bakery shop, ice- cream shop, plus several little gifts shops. We really enjoyed our week there.

Five friends take an annual trip and we had to book this property on short notice. We were pleasantly surprised that it met all of our needs. It was conveniently located to groceries, gas, and there was a great tavern with walking distance. Would like to see ceiling fans installed in the bedrooms. Great place.

The location was great and the house had plenty of beds, but there were so many things that could have made it more pleasant. 1. I really didn't think that I'd have to check and see if there was a dishwasher. That was very disappointing. 2. There was only one dish rag (remember- no dishwasher!) So we had to use a lot of paper towels to handwash the dishes. (Luckily we brought a ton of our own paper plates) 3. No 9 x 13 pan, no regular sized saucepan. The potholders had holes in them. No mixing bowls and generally just a terribly stocked kitchen. The silverware drawer had crumbs in it. 4. No trashcan in the bathroom and most importantly--- no BLINDS! There was a window by the shower, but only sheer curtains are hung. I took a blanket and hung it up so I wasn't flashing the nearby house. That seems like a pretty basic thing--- if you have a window in a bathroom, make sure there are BLINDS for crying out loud. 5. I didn't like sharing a trashcan and recycling can with the house beside us. There were 12 of us and that is way too much trash to be sharing. 6. I think there are definite improvements to be made in order to make this a better place to stay.
