2 BR, 2 Story Townhouse by the Beach (410A)

Good place.

Everything was fine but the furniture in the kitchen/living room area was very uncomfortable.

The place was very clean, close to shops, gas stations, and the beach! We absolutely loved our stay here definitely would stay here again. The owners was nice to communicate back and forth with and answered instantly with anything you may need! Definitely a very clean and nice house to stay in!

Overall the unit was good- excellent location walkable to great places- beach, restaurants, Vibe district, etc. This unit is set back from the road so there was privacy and not too loud except for the military jets overhead. It was clean, with comfortable beds. The living room area furniture is quite uncomfortable, so the only good place to sit was the cozy chair in the downstairs bedroom. TVs are small, hard to see across the room. Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans but very little silverware (maybe 4 forks) and mugs- we bought some that we left in the unit. Maintenance was very responsive for a couple lightbulbs that needed replacement. Notice- no beach equipment or towels provided.

My family (husband, son, father, dog, and self) had a really nice stay. The townhouse was exactly as depicted online. It's a super convenient 5-minute-ish walk from the beach, and is close to coffee shops and Harris Teeter. I emailed Tom about the microwave crapping out and he was in touch super quickly and at our door with a replacement in no time. We'd definitely stay here again.

Parking was absolutely terrible!! Had to park in city lot and walk to the unit at 11 at night, at 70 years old. The garage was too small for a Chevy Impala. It was stated as a one car garage in the initial listing and then as a small compact car size in the check in information. Otherwise, it was an acceptable unit. This is the second time that we have stayed in a unit managed by Sheppard. The first experience was excellent!

Very clean and private. We enjoyed the close walk to the beach and the balcony! I would recommend staying here if you want to be in Oceanfront. It was just myself and my husband but this property is spacious and could well accommodate a family or two.

The property is a perfect location for the beach and surrounding entertainment.The cleanliness of the property wasn’t 100% especially with the service being included in the cost. 1. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony or the courtyard area due to dirty outside furniture and cobwebs covering the porch and furniture.2. Cabinets, refrigerator, coffee pot and backsplash wasn’t cleaned.3. Garbage disposal had an awful odor seeping through.4. Bathroom sinks aren’t draining properly.5. An electrical outlet in the washroom would help when using the iron.Thanks

Responsive host when we had a problem, even mailed me back a small item I forgot. Close to the beach with easy access.

This is a beautiful home with amazing amenities! It’s cozy but still so chic and clean inside. It’s the perfect walking distance to everything you would need, only 15 minute walk to the Vibe district with so many awesome food and drink options, along with a super short walk to a great beach access! There are bars and restaurants within a short walking distance on the boardwalk as well!

The stairs were a bit steep.

We stayed with our adult daughter and her boyfriend and loved the fact we could walk to the beach, a bar, a restaurant. The area was quiet. Note - if you have a big SUV it will not fit in the garage and you will need to get one of the parking spaces

Walking distance from the beach, local stores and restaurants. Easy access to the expressway to get to the wedding venue and airport.

The place is as nice and cleaned. We wish it had more tow is and doormats. When we arrived it was raining so door mats would of been good.. The place was nice! The first floor bed frame bed to be fixed it was lose.. Since 22nd street goes into hwy 64, it’s such a loud street. Due to all the motorists and ambulance not sure if I would stay there again. Short walk to the beach that was great.

Enjoyed our week in VA Beach. Great communication from the host and it was easy to access the unit once we arrived. Our accommodations worked perfectly for us - we were able to easily walk to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Plus the area was pretty quiet during week. Although there was some street noise Saturday night, it wasn't too bad. We found the beds very comfortable. The water pressure in the showers was perfect. And it was nice having a washer/dryer since we stayed for a full week. Would recommend having a broom/dustpan available in the condo since the floor in the downstairs bedroom tended to get a bit gritty with the outside entry doors adjacent to this room. I used the available vacuum cleaner but a broom would have been easier. The oceanfront boardwalk was our highlight - fortunate timing with the Blue Angels practicing for their Saturday airshow. Simply amazing. We also enjoyed a visit to First Landing State Park. Great history. All-in-all, a fun and memorable vacation. We plan to stay in the same condo next time we visit.

This was a great place to stay - plenty of room for 2 kids and 2 adults, very clean, just a few blocks from the beach. Just don't shower with the door open in the downstairs bathroom, or it will set off the fire alarm. :)

The location was great, walking distance to everything. We had a rental car we were able to park in the garage. It was a tight squeeze for the suv but we were able to get in. It’s right in the middle so we were within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do. Property manager was very responsive. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for a family of 4. We were nervous because it was a townhouse but we never once heard the neighbors. Only complaints were- although it was clean we could tell it was cleaned quickly. Still Sandy floors and dust bunnies in the corners of rooms. Bathrooms and kitchen felt clean though! There was a vacuum on the property so we ran it quickly and didn’t have another issue. And wish there were more towels- having laundry on site was nice so we could wash them and reuse though! Would stay here again!

Loved staying at this house. It was in a great location and the property itself was cute. The house gave off southern beach vibes and we loved it. The attention to detail in the house was very well done. The hosts made sure to send plenty of important information prior to the visit which helped on check in day.

We were in town for a softball tournament, this property suited our family better than a hotel. Very clean and new looking. Garage was tight but our Acura MDX fit! I would suggest a broom and dustpan for beach sand tracked in as there was only a vacuum.

The place was really nice we enjoyed ourselves. I wished the couch in the living room would have been bigger but other than that no complaints.
