2 bedroom holiday home

This was exactly what we needed when we needed it.

I am rating an alternative property provided to us after an Expedia/VBRO miscommunication. The alternative 3 bedroom/2bath property was offered to us at no extra cost and was a wonderful place to stay. Host and Expedia/VBRO were very helpful and were able to resolve the issue.

The good: Location- 5 min from mossy cave trail, 15 from the Bryce Canyon NP and a few restaurants a min away. Gas and groceries too. Laundry machines worked and were quiet! The Size- 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Ice maker! Loved this for camelbak and coolersNo bugs or insectsInternet worked greatLots of towels and washcloths Lots of storage space in kitchen Air conditioning works wellThe bad:Communication- I had to ask about check in and then when contacted with things that were unsettling, nothing. No response. Lots of little things that add up- Lights in kitchen flicker. At first we thought just when washing machine was running, but that is not the case. Just random. no laundry or dishwasher detergent (made me wonder about cleanliness of dishes or linens, there was regular dish soap so we washed dishes by hand)fraying ratty carpetbroken and missing blindsbroken dust panbroken outlet covercould feel every spring in the pull out couch bedone spoon for the entire rental (we had 5 people and luckily had brought some plastic ware)couldn’t get tv to work so just used our iPad (no instructions in notebook)4 chairs for 5 people. Rental says its for 5The menus in binder - old and outdated prices Door code hasn’t been changed ever apparently because it’s the same on the first page of this outdated binderFridge was a bit dirtyGiant crack in the stovetop We wouldn’t stay again. Great location to Bryce National Park. Nice quiet neighborhood.

First I had to call VRBO support to get this owner to provide check-in information. Then when we arrived at the property we discovered another family there because the unit had been double-booked. I'm still waiting for a response from the owner on a refund. The outside of the property was very unkempt - high grass and vines growing in the walls. Poorly maintained.

Great location in a good little town. The house was clean.

Loved being able to do laundry and have simple meals. Also wifi and rv was great. We relaxed after 2 long days if hiking Bryce. Also lucked out that the skies were clear and i could do some easy astrophotogtaphy. Bery dark sdude for a couple street lights.Wish i would have had my telescope.

It was clean. We only stayed one night, and it was ok.

Easy to access

I got the information like address, door code, etc. but had to ask for it. It did not get sent to me like all of the other places I have stayed at. The house is very bare bones but adequate. Nice little town right at the base of Bryce Canyon National Park!

The location from the National Park and the town were excellent. We took a short drive and enjoyed star gazing at night as well.

We Did not receive check-in info in advance Texted owner the hour we could check in and he texted codeWe texted about check out process since we received no instructions or none found in book. We did not receive a text back. The home has a lot of potential. However The sofa and chair needs replaced. Very lumpy and uncomfortableSame with the king mattressSuggest a new non-stick pan that is not flaking and the utensil draw needs spoons. There is only one big spoon and no small spoonsDone well:Plenty of supplies for laundry, dish pods and bathrooms items. Location was great and the home is clean.

Communication with owner eas great. We had 2 issues and he resolved them right away. Carportbwas a nice touch. Washer and dryer looked fairly new. Nice to have full size refrigerator. Very close to Bryce. I think the couch was a hide-a-bed and was hard to get up for teo old people! Enjoyed our stay. A lot around the area to enjoy.

Comfortable, clean, convenient location

I friend and I stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon NP for a couple of days. The house was clean, as advertised, and conveniently located near Bryce Canyon NP. No complaints there. However several factors were problematic. The main problem is that the host didn’t send check in instructions on time and didn’t respond to messages sent through VRBO. I had to contact VRBO the night before we were to arrive for assistance. They also couldn’t reach him by phone, but gave me his phone number and said that if we hadn’t received check in instructions prior to check in time the next day that they would assist us in finding other lodging. While Levi (the host) didn’t respond to my phone call that night, he did respond the next day to a text I sent to provide the check in information. Arriving at the house, we were disappointed to find no laundry detergent since we had hoped to do laundry during our stay. I texted the host asking if he could supply some and he did so, so we were able to do laundry the second night. A second issue related to the internet. The information in the booklet in the house listed an internet account and password, but it didn’t work initially and, when I did finally get it to work after recycling the router, it was very slow. It turns out the information in the booklet was out of date. We were supposed to use a different internet account and password. Good place to stay for what we wanted. Nothing fancy but had all we needed. Communication with owner was easy.

Communication was great. There was a small glitch with the TV and Wifi on arrival but it was fixed with one quick communication. I don't mind glitches. They happen. The key is a swift resolution and that's what happened here. Place is very conveniently located to Bryce Canyon, but far enough away that it's not quite the tourist trap. Great base camp with washer/dryer convenient there.
