I had a wonderful stay in the Walnut Room! Kimmi, the innkeeper, made me feel so welcome from the start and gave me fantastic suggestions for local hikes that made my trip even more special. The room itself was very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, snacks, a microwave, and a coffee maker available. I especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor area, complete with tables and chairs surrounded by apple and pear trees—it was the perfect spot to relax. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and a peaceful setting

Definitely a small room, but for us it was exactly what we needed. We only used it for sleeping since we left to hike daily. Bed was SO comfortable! Absolutely clean. Appreciated the welcome basket and restaurant recommendations. Had everything we needed in a modern but small space.

The location was amazing. It was so nice to sit out un the morning and have coffee, listen to the birds and watch the deer pass through. Kimmie was a fantastic host and even took us on a beautiful slot canyon hike. The comfy bed and hot shower were a must after very active days. A beautiful place to stay!

The Walnut Tree room at River Stone Inn was the perfect location to support exploration of Bryce Canyon NP and the area surrounding Tropic. The room was clean and included lots of little touches that made the stay welcoming, including the personal message from the host, Kimmi. The grounds are peaceful and a great place to unwind after a day of exploration or before taking off on another adventure. Make sure to make time to connect with Kimmi. She gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area and was just fun to talk to.

We loved The Walnut Room. It’s was clean, cozy and the most comfortable bed! Kimmi was so welcoming & gave us great recommendations. It’s a quick drive to Bryce Canyon where we had a fabulous day & returned to a hot shower & sat out in the yard & watched the hummingbirds. Loved the larger mini-fridge where we could freeze ice packs & bring lunch into the park. Thanks for the snacks Kimmi. She’s added every detail you could want for.

We had a very nice stay here. It was well-appointed and quiet. The hostess provided lots of coffee, tea, snacks, even little chapsticks with SPF. She responded very quickly to messages and was very friendly when we chatted with her in person. I highly recommend!

We loved staying here in the walnut room. Great location. The inn keeper Kimmie was a delight! She sat by the fire with us our second night and she is very informative about the area as to where to go and what to see. I highly recommend this property.

I felt very welcomed at this wonderfully managed place in my beautiful room. The room is small but is well equipped with microwave, larger capacity mini fridge, coffee, Thea and the snacks that welcomes you. The host was very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed the evening fire and special hikes they suggested for me. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to be near by the Bryce Canyon park.

This room is very small, but was enough for our 2 night stay. We liked that it was in the neighborhood and gave us a nice small town country feel. Since we were staying at hotels before and after, we really liked this simple homey feel. I didn't realize until the 2nd day that the stairs inside the room leading (I assume) to the other airbnd room next door had drawers built into the stairs. No other drawers in the room, so wished I had noticed them. The closet had no hangers. I just used it to lay down my suitcase so I could grab my clothes out of it there. It was a strange layout. The yard was huge... best part was sitting out there in the quiet and watching the deer and pheasant that came to visit! Note, the outside pictures of the front door and the picnic table were not accurate... no table or potted plants around, that doesn't look like our front door, and a bit of feeling of disrepair overall in the yard. There was swing chairs set in the corner near the lawn mower, but they weren't comfortable and partially broken.. my bottom hit the floor when swinging on one. FYI, there was plywood on the front and back of the main house garage... it was a bit off-putting when we drove up. You need to drive to the back of the house on the gravel road and park there. A few weeks before, I sent a question to the property owner, which I never received a response to. Overall, we enjoyed the solitude in the neighborhood and this worked for us, as we are very laid back.

Very clean studio apartment. Quiet surrounding area. Nice to sit out in the provided chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather. Well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, oatmeal, etc. Plenty of towels, shampoo, etc in the bathroom. Very pleased with this place and highly recommend!

This stay is beautifully furnished and clean. We enjoyed sitting outside evenings and could walk into the small town for dinner. It was small, as described but good utilization of space but after 3 nights we were happy to stretch out at our next stay. The one downside was that there is a microwave and supplies for oatmeal and coffee but no way to cook the oatmeal other than coffee mugs and no way ( soap, towels etc) to wash them. We ended up buying dish detergent and using the paper towels but there should have been supplies to do that if coffee and a micro are offered.
