Gary insisted on texting me on my cell phone instead of the VRBO messaging platform which I was uncomfortable with. He also insisted on meeting us in person to let us into the property. It came across distrustful, not the warm New Orleans welcome he played it off as. The house was fine! Mattresses were good, but there were not a lot of pillows available and some of the extra linens felt dirty. Like with any older home you can hear everything so keep that in mind if looking at this property! While the location was great being so close to our family reunion, I think for the cost- next time we're better off just finding a hotel.

We had an outstanding visit to New Orleans! The house was amazing for us! We had 4 couples as part of our group and everyone had their own bedroom. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do.

If you want to be in a great location away from the NOLA tourist traps, this is the place for you. The house is spacious, within walking distance to all that Magazine St. has to offer including Guy’s Poboys! Our host met us at arrival and gave us a walkthru of the house, which is clean and well kept. He was communicative from the very beginning and really set the tone for our great stay. Highly recommend!!

This house was perfect for our family’s first trip to New Orleans. It is a beautiful/safe/quiet neighborhood and the house is situated perfectly to walk to Magazine street which is lined with great restaurants, shops, etc. The house is very spacious, with comfortable bed rooms and lots of baths, making it a great place for stays over a long period of time. Gary was easy to communicate with and an accommodating host. Highly recommended!

Several family members were staying at this property for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for us. We hosted a dinner party for 14 people and were happy to have the two kitchens to prepare. It would have been nice to have one large space to accommodate eating all together. The bathrooms are nice. Some of the furnishings could be spruced up.
