1960 Ocean Beach Bungalow w Parking-sleeps 4 w Pak N Play Fire Pit

There was no body soap in the shower, the towels were thin and low quality and only 3 towels for 4 nights ( 2 people). The stove didn’t work so we bought a pizza we forks not cooked. no insert / rack in fireplace so it was very hard to start when a duraflame. The bed in the small bedroom was a simple foam you would find in a RV there is no heat in that bedroom it was freezing. An empty box for a small heater was in the room. We found a small room heater in the game cabinet days later, the one that belongs in that empty box in the small bedroom. ( the cleaning crew could make sure the tiny Heather is in its box in that room) my daughter didn’t sleep well at all for 4 days. The house is not cleaned, the were spider webs all over one over the bathroom sink. There was left over material used to redo the floors left in the main bedroom showing that this property does not get proper attention. One would remove the material if they cleaned the floors. It was very expensive for what it offered. It didn’t feel warm and welcoming at all.

The bungalow was definitely the best place to stay in San Diego! Pretty much everything is 15-20 mins away (like the best beaches and attractions) Good parking as well for two vehicles! The owner was very quick to respond to questions. I’m definitely going to be utilizing this property again

It was nice for what we needed it for. The airplanes were a lot louder than expected. It was nice for 2 nights for the 3 of us. Just no where to unpack your stuff. So we had our suitcases open in the living room. Location was perfect for where we needed to be.

Comfortable bed

We did not use the fireplace, but the VRBO was clean and added delivered on its promise. Very nice neighborhood!

Was a small cozy place that was close to everything (beaches, Airport, Sea World, etc). Place was as described and worked perfect for my stay.

We appreciated the designated parking space, as street parking was quite full. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and other cooking utensils. The location of the bungalow was a convenient spot to drive a few blocks to the beach or drive north to La Jolla as we did a few times. As the listing states, we did hear many planes during our stay.

Great little house. All the amenities you would need. Very close to restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Driveway for parking and full size laundry.

This house honestly only comfortably sleeps 2 adults, sleeping in the same bed and children. The cot/bed barely fit my 5'6 daughter and the couch was barely big enough for my son. It was not the most comfortable experience. When the issue was brought up and we decided to check out early the manager did work with us and refunded us for days we did not stay since this house did not fit our needs.

This is truly a one bedroom one bathroom home. The second bedroom might be considered a large walk-in closet or a food pantry. This is suitable for 2 adults on the queen bed, and 1 adult sleeping on the couch. The pantry (2nd bedroom) truly needs a real bed, or even a camping cot, it is completely unsuitable for anyone to sleep on. If you don’t mind ruffing it for a couple nights, and want to have a story to share with others, then this would be a consideration.The jet plane noise is constant, and is impossible to ignore, even with myself being a sound sleeper.Our stay will be a humorous story to share with each other for years to come. The description of this residence must truly be experienced by the individuals that stay here.

The house was perfect for our beach vacation needs. The host was available through the app and very helpful. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials. And the fireplace in the front was perfect.

The property appeared to be a perfect fit online and in a great neighborhood. Check-in was easy, and the property looked charming at first glance. The sidewalk outside the front door was littered with debris from the vegetation, and the wood flooring had a few spots of sticky black tar-like substances that the kids ended up tracking around before we cleaned it. The bed in the 2nd room is rather small and really isn't that comfortable. To sleep all 4 of us like the property advertised, one person would need to sleep on the couch.

The location was amazing and very economical! We were within 15 minutes of many tourist attractions and the neighborhood had many restaurants within walking distance. I would book this place again if it's available for our next stay.

Adorable little house in a fantastic San Diego location! We really enjoyed our stay — the home was cozy and perfectly situated. We did notice a few spiders (just daddy long legs), but nothing concerning. The only issue we noticed was that the front door doesn’t lock from the inside, so you have to step outside to ensure it’s secure. This might be something to keep in mind if you have young kids, since they could potentially open it without much resistance. Otherwise, a great place overall!

Deanne is very responsive and helpful. The place was cute and in the perfect area for sea world! The bed was comfy and we liked having the heat/ac option.

This is a nice place to stay close to Ocean Beach. It was fine except that the cleaner did not have it clean until over 30 minutes after the official check in time. The listing also lists a twin bed in the 2nd bedroom. This is inaccurate as it is a futon and not a twin bed. Otherwise, my brother and I would definitely come again!

It’s perfect home stay vacation for you and your family and lots of things to do around the area only mins away. The night drives are worth it and don’t forget the amazing views at the beach. This listing had everything we needed during our stay. Literally we needed for nothing. The neighborhood is quiet and the bungalow is very charming.

Perfect location for a SanDiego vacation, clean, homey, safe . We were very pleased with the whole experience

Hugely disappointed with the quality of the property. First off, the exterior metal front door does not latch nor lock at all. Patio furniture in front yard is rusted, poor quality of cushions, does not back on to green lush hedge as in photos but looks into rundown, messy neighbor yard. Cushions for living room couch and chair need thrown out - ripped in back, poor quality, not at all as in photos. In fact couch and chair should really be replaced. No way could anyone sleep on the couch as it says is one of the sleep 4 beds. Lack of cable TV greatly limits television watching for guest down time. Fold down bed in second room would be impossible for any adult to sleep on as noted as one of the sleep 4 beds. Main bed was comfortable. There is no space anywhere in the property to put luggage and no drawers etc. to place belongings. Only place to hang items is in the room with the fold down bed, but then it greatly limits space to move around in that tiny room. Two sinks in bathroom is convenient, but photos in ad fail to show that the space behind the second sink is less that two feel to the wall, so it limits access. Shower had 6 shampoo bottles on the ledges (yuck!) and a multitude of partially full bottles under the bathroom sink. Drawers in bathroom were dirty. Washer and dryer were convenient but their placement limits the ability to access the back door exit. Kitchen was okay. Lots of owner's personal stuff in cupboards. Overall house was dirty. Disappointing!

It’s quiet, clean, no one bothers you. Definitely book for a weekend trip, and they give you binder to give you all the information you could possibly need. You can call them for help if needed which is a plus!

First impression from the outside was totally different from the inside. I really enjoyed the inside and the neighbors.

The owners were very communicative and easy to work with. This cozy bungalow is centrally located near the airport and within walking distance to various shops and restaraunts. Great stay!

Property was as described. There was a great washer and dryer inside as well as a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. The third small futon bed was very small. Two out of three of us hung over the edge when we tried laying on it. It’s definitely more suitable for a small child than an adult. There were some cleanliness issues with inside and outside the property. It’s an older neighborhood and there are some pavement issues with the road in the driveway. The front end of my car was very scratched up from going up and down the ragged driveway. However, I do feel like this was described pretty accurately in the listing so I knew to expect it.

My family and I enjoyed the unit very much. Close to everything and felt safe. Very good experience

The stay was comfortable. It should be listed as sleeps 3 adults though. Because the converted closet sleeps 1 adult comfortably on the lounge sleeper. The Bathroom being located in the bedroom wasn't convenient for everyone since we was not all related. Loved the location!

We only needed to stay two nights so the size was fine. This fit our needs. I know the airplane noise was in the description's but the planes were louder than we anticipated. That was our only concern since a couple of planes woke us up at 4:45am.
