Stayed Dec 27, 2024Unique property where you can experience a historic home with some modern amenities. Loved the exposed beams and brick The bathrooms had a modern feel. Lots of walkable options including a coffee shop across the street. King street shopping and dining are just a few minutes away.

Stayed May 14, 2026We had a great stay at this property! Communication with the host was great and the house had everything we needed. The location was very walkable to all that King Street has to offer and having the parking spot at the house was a huge bonus since we drove down. We were there Thursday-Sunday and construction was only happening on Thursday and Friday morning so it did not really affect our experience (we knew about the construction prior to booking). Outside noise was a little loud while trying to sleep but that can be expected when staying downtown in a lively city. We would happily book again in the future and recommend this property to anyone!

Stayed Feb 26, 2026Lovely home, super charming, great location!! However, there is construction next door. Not a place for light sleepers. We didn’t spend much time inside as we were out touring so it wasn’t bad for us. Would definitely stay here again once construction is complete.

Stayed Oct 15, 2025It was a great girls trip. Frank the host was so informative about the area. Restaurants and things to do in Charleston. Our location was ideal. We walked and took an uber when needed. Very close to everything. The pizza place across the street from really good. And the breakfast bakery too.

Stayed Sep 25, 2025The place was incredibly cute, well maintained, very clean. The only problem is the noise factor. The owner did let us know about construction however there was a lot of loud music until 1-2 AM which wasn’t very good. Also, in front of the house there is a bump from the construction that cars go over all times of the evening, which kept us up. Overall, great location, very safe, you can walk anywhere you’d like, great restaurants, and again the place was really cute.

Stayed Jun 30, 2025Only a few blocks from King street and the bus stop which was prefect! So many coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance.House is definitely historic which was cool however be prepared the floors (I assume) are original so bring some slippers and you can hear everything going on outside. If you’re a light sleepers bring earplugs. Owners have done a great job at restoring this property! It was neat to say we stayed a house that was almost 200 years old:)

Stayed May 15, 2025This is a lovely home in a great location. The owner is easy to work with. We only had two issues. The water in the upstairs sinks is very weak and the beds are uncomfortable. All three beds had a hard mattress on a metal frame. The kitchen is well stocked and the couch is comfy. The porch was perfect for relaxing. There is quite a bit of foot traffic which made it enjoyable for us people watchers. The private driveway is a plus. If you are planning a trip to Charleston this home would be a great choice.

Stayed Apr 17, 2025Frank’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was an easy walk to everything. I especially appreciated the gated property since it was an all girls trip. We slept amazing. The large upstairs bathroom made it easy for several to get ready at the same time. The extra half bath was convenient as well. Frank was a great host. We would definitely stay here again if back in Charleston. Thank you!!

Stayed Dec 20, 2024We loved the location, seamlessness of check-in, ability to park our car on the property, and the house. Our one minor complaint is that the beds could use some updating. Beds were not very comfortable and sheets/pillows were a bit old. Otherwise, everything was great, and we enjoyed our first time in Charleston!

Stayed Jan 1, 2025We used this home as our base for exploring Charleston for 3 days. It was exceptionally clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, and the bathroom was spacious for 3 women to get ready in the morning. Charleston is all about history, and it was nice that this home had modern amenities but also provided a real glimpse of history as well. The store across the street had excellent coffee, sandwiches, and cocktails. We would stay again if in the area.

Stayed Oct 22, 2024We really enjoyed our stay. We walked to the shuttle stop the first day which was just a few blocks away and rode it to the city market. The house was very old and had so much charm. I love wondering what history comes with a house of that age. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and the little table in the mornings. The house had a welcoming feel, and good vibes to it. We will definitely be back again!
