1798 House - Historic house 1 mile from downtown New Hope

Sharon and her husband were wonderful hosts that went the extra mile to make sure that all of our needs were met. They reached out in advance and then met us upon our arrival for a nice tour of the house and the well kept grounds. This was a perfect stay in a quaint and cozy, impeccably restored and maintained 18th century home, with plenty of guest rooms and interesting nooks and crannies. We especially appreciated how clean everything was. The gardens and outside fire pit area was an added bonus. This was a fantastic alternative at a very attractive value compared to renting single hotel rooms. We will definitely consider returning!

This quirky old house was ideal for a fall get away. Everything was very clean and as pictured. It was the perfect location for us to gather as a family with close proximity to downtown New Hope. Great back yard and 3 season porch offers places to gather and chat. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. Check in was easy. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We were attending a three day convention in new Hope and the location of this house was phenomenal. It had everything that we needed and more. Because this is a historic house, it did not have central air, but they did have units in most of the rooms. Please take note that some of the rooms did not have units so they were pretty warm, but these were just sitting areas. The property was beautiful and the homeowners were very hospitable. Hopefully we will see you next year!!

This house is amazing. It has so much charm and is equipped with everything you need. The backyard is beautiful and very private. The plants and flowers add that extra touch. It’s minutes from shopping, history, and the great outdoors. I recommend this house and hope to return again soon.

A charming rustic farm house very close to New Hope.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting and exploring the area. The hosts were very kind and informative. The house was just as expected and immaculately clean! We would definitely recommend or stay here again.

We absolutely loved this property and would definitely stay here again. The home was beautifully furnished and very spacious. We were a family of five adults attending a wedding in the area and the location was perfect for the three wedding events that we attended in the area. The property had beautiful outdoor areas including gardens, a fire pit and patio. The host was very easy to work with, even allowing us to change our reservation days.
