Imagine this: it's golden hour, the solar-heated pool is glowing, you're in the six-seat hot tub with a glass of Gundlach Bundschu in hand, and there's not another soul on 14 private acres. That's Thursday night here. This 1,400 sq ft guest house was built for the kind of Sonoma trip you'll talk about for years. Welcome to Lovall Glen by KEVALA TERRA.

THE SPACE
A gated entry opens to 14 acres of rolling grounds, ancient oak and olive trees, and lawns that feel like you've steppedoff the map — while staying just 3.5 miles from Sonoma Plaza. The guest house is fully standalone, two exterior decks, and every comfort you'd want for up to 7 people.

Guest House (Approx. 1400 sq. ft.):

Sleeps up to 7 adults with three bedroom, two en suite bathrooms, and one hallway bathroom.
Large open-living area with a fully stocked kitchen.
Two exterior wooden decks with scenic views.
Independent heat/air-conditioning units in each room.
Satellite cable TV and WiFi.
1-minute walk from the main house and pool.
The guest house is located on a large property with other structures. We rent to only one group at a time, so you would not share the property with any other guests regardless of whether you rent the guest house (this listing), main house, or both houses.

OUTDOOR LIVING
The outdoor space is what sets this property apart:

• Solar-heated pool (May–October) with propane gas heating available year-round for $500, prepaid 2+ weeks in advance
• Six-seat hot tub with outdoor living area
• Fully equipped outdoor kitchen — grill, prep space, all of it
• Heated outdoor shower
• Gas fire table and patio gas heater for cooler evenings
• Wood decks at multiple levels for dining, lounging, and sunbathing

There is ample parking on the asphalt area at the end of the driveway, near the main house and pool. Park anywhere on the asphalt (not on dirt), except directly in front of the garage, as we need unobstructed access to the garage interior. The garage is not for guest parking. After you park, simply follow the sign to the Guest (not Main) house.

FOR DIGITAL NOMADS
A detached, glass-enclosed private office sits on the grounds — quiet, beautiful, and purpose-built for video calls and deep work. High-speed WiFi extends throughout. This is one of the few Sonoma properties where you can genuinely work well and still walk out to a pool at 5pm.

WHERE YOU'LL BE
Eastern Sonoma foothills, 3.5 miles from the historic Sonoma Plaza with its restaurants, tasting rooms, and farmers market. Gundlach Bundschu and Buena Vista Winery are a 10-minute scenic drive. Glen Ellen and Kenwood are under 15 minutes. San Francisco is a one-hour drive. Abundant hiking and biking opportunities for all levels.

This is the ideal base for a wine country escape:
• Family reunion or milestone birthday (sleeps 7, private, pool)
• Corporate offsite or work retreat (glass office, multiple gathering spaces)
• Bachelorette or friends' trip (hot tub + outdoor kitchen + deck dinners)
• Couples or solo retreat where space and privacy matter

GOOD TO KNOW
You'll have the entire guest house for your exclusive use. The property is occasionally maintained by the owner or property managers during daylight hours (lawn care, etc.), but no other guests share the property — pool, grounds, and all. We never rent to more than one group at a time.

Check-in from 4:00 PM via keypad. Checkout by 11:00 AM. Maximum 7 guests.

No additional undisclosed guests.
NO DOGS OR PETS (no exceptions), including service and assistance animals, are allowed on the property at any time, since this would create a health and safety hazard for the owners who have severe allergies.

No discounts offered; pricing reflects amenities.

Standard Amenity Availability Disclaimer:

While we take great care to maintain all onsite amenities to a high standard, peripheral amenities—including pool heating, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and BBQ—may occasionally experience maintenance or operational issues, sometimes due to prior guest use. Should an issue arise, we will communicate transparently and work to resolve it as quickly as possible. However, due to short turnaround windows between stays, repairs may not always be completed prior to your arrival.
In the uncommon event that an advertised amenity is unavailable during your stay, a courtesy credit of up to $80 per day per affected amenity may be offered. No additional compensation, refunds, or trip adjustments will apply. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept this policy.

Please note that if a reservation is canceled and qualifies for a refund under the cancellation policy, a $100 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund to cover non-refundable payment processing fees charged to us at the time of booking.

    Stayed at this sprawling property for 3 nights with the family and a what a fantastic place! The owners have appointed the property so thoughtfully both inside and out. Beautifully maintained grounds smelling of fresh herbs, containing every amenity one could want in an outdoor space. We stayed in the newly updated guest house which was open and airy, filled with natural light and tastefully decorated throughout. We spent as much time as possible outdoors exploring the expansive grounds then enjoying the cool evenings around the fire table using the patio heater for additional warmth followed by a soak in the jacuzzi. They thought of everything and more in this outdoor space equipped with a full kitchen and even a cart to help transport items from the house! Mike was extremely responsive to any inquiries. A very memorable stay!

    This was such a special getaway the property is wonderful with little walkways, great hillsides, and landscaping. We were able to take full advantage of the pool, volleyball court and just loved sitting under the stars for late-night chats.
