The property was nicely updated and was thoughtfully stocked. Overall we enjoyed the property. We were disappointed with the rental company and their communication. The VRBO info listed no more than 6 over night adults we didn’t realize until check in info was sent that it included day visitors. We had local family we were hoping to invite over. Also the rental company management was less than cooperative overall and a bit aggressive in her manner and was unfamiliar with the property. We verified twice with the rental company there was not any housekeeping to be done upon departure, in the check in info was informed about having to mop and vacuum floors prior to departure. Not a big deal but annoying
The house was very clean and well equipped for anything we needed. The back yard is huge and has plenty of room for yard games and sports of all kinds. The water was very nice for swimming and boating. The location was handy for getting to a wide variety of places on the Cape. Not a great location for walking in the neighborhood due to the busy, winding road without sidewalks. However, there are lots of places you can drive to and find lovely trails and places to walk. Would definitely rent this home again.
My family enjoyed our vacation week at this lovely property. The pictures did not do the home justice. It was spacious and comfortable for our family getaway. Very clean and beautifully finished. I especially enjoyed cooking in the new kitchen and our daily swims on the lake. We would definitely stay here again.
This property is gorgeous. The pond, the deck, the sunlights, all of it stunning and so relaxing. We had a 4 y/o and a 7 y/o with us for part of the week and they adored the huge yard and the pond. They had a blast. And the adults loved star gazing while the wind ruffled the trees. The beds are soooo comfortable. Truly. It was like sleeping in a cloud. The owner was so responsive. I mentioned the propane tank was empty, but I intended to pick one up the next day. He dropped off a new one nearly immediately. The only small problem was that the realty place (who are also lovely, responsive, and helpful) initially stated that check out was at 11 am, changed it to 10 am, and then the cleaners showed up at 9:15am. So while I would have loved some coffee by the water before leaving, I did feel a bit rushed. Otherwise, my whole experience was blissful.
