Newly renovated and set up as a private up-market family getaway that is pet friendly.

Located on a quiet street, 2 minute walk from a beautiful dog friendly beach and a 5 minute drive or 10 minute cycle ride along a dedicated bike path to cafes and shops

If pre-requested and approved, we are dog friendly (due to allergies, sorry no other animals) with 1.8m fence and a gate at one end.

The newly built open plan solar passive living area has high coffered ceilings and white polished concrete floor. Orientated to capture the north light and seabreeze in summer, the double glass French doors are fitted with metal fly screens to stop the bugs but allow the breeze in.

At one end, the stunning stained glass splashback is a statement in the fully equipped kitchen.

The lounge area has a 65” screen television with internet access, ceiling fan and reverse cycle air conditioning for all year comfort. Behind the TV wall is the laundry and a second full bathroom with a walk in shower.

Large north facing double glass doors lead out to the private rear garden. Here is a bbq and a second dining table so guests can cook and dine comfortably or relax under the shady pergola. In the summer months, the row of beautiful Ornamental Pear trees provide dappled shade to the grass and rear pergola area.

For families, a separate hallway leading to the bedrooms can be closed off by a solid door. Down the hallway are four carpeted bedrooms and the main bathroom, which has a walk in shower.

Beds are made up on arrival with quality linen and are extremely comfortable as were manufactured for us to hotel standard to ensure a restful nights sleep.

Sorry, no EV or electric bike/ scooter charging due to our insurance and power limitations. $500 penalty for unauthorised charging.

PLEASE NOTE for our insurance and license, a signed electronic registration form agreeing to our T&Cs plus a copy of your govt ID needs to be uploaded on to the platform within 48 hours to confirm your booking. Access cannot be provided unless this is completed. All guests need to be registered at all times to meet government and council regulations.

CITY OF BUSSELTON (CoB) Code of Conduct

As dog lovers we want to remain pet friendly but all guests requiring pet approval will need to abide by the new CoB's holiday accommodation rules stating that dogs are NOT to be left at the house unattended.

CoB's other requirements are only 4 vehicles (inc boat trailers) at any one time, all guests to be registered and no visitors after 10pm!

These rules apply to all holiday homes in the municipality not just us!

We do have 24/7 external CCTV to ensure compliance and for security and a Minut decibel monitor.

We try to be flexible depending on our cleaning staff's availability, please ask:
- min 2 night stays
- min 3 night stays for long weekends
- min 4 - 7 night stays over school holidays
- no check in or out Christmas Day, Boxing Day or NY day

    Amazing family getaway, including our little schnauzer. Perfect location, beautiful home, great home away from home. We needed some time out to spend quality time with our late teen aged kids and this did not disappoint. Our host even decorated for Xmas. Just perfection. Thank you.

    This holiday home provided my family and I a much needed break from the 'everyday' rat race of living in the city. Dunsborough Bay Beach House provided spacious living areas, easily accomodating meal prep, board games and movie watching all at once. Previous holiday homes have struggled to provide enough space for our family of 6 (plus furchild) as most have small living areas - ultimately we find ourselves falling over one another. Every one of our 4 teens had their own bed and private space to retreat. They could enjoy new independance exploring the beautiful area on their bikes as the pathway runs parallel to the beach - which was a stones throw away. They could ride into town, have a bite to eat, swim with the dog at the beach, go shopping - all without needed a car ride! Once home we found the location to be peaceful and quiet. Then home was very clean and very well stocked with all the little things you forget to pack. The coffee machine had pods, the pantry had condiments, the fridge was huge and easily fit all our groceries. Our dog loved the backyard and it was very secure. He didn't appreciate his daily outdoor shower but we certainly did! The little things made this house a home away from home. The only negative was that the couch was so comfortable I struggled to leave it. We will definately be back! Bec Carney

    From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The house was very clean, modern and styled beautifully. The house was equiped with everything we needed and the location to the beach was perfect. Mel, the host, was so lovely to communicate with and was very helpful in providing local recommendations for places to eat and explore. We will definitely be back to this little slice of paradise! the communication, level of detail and helpful recommendations for local resturants and places to vists

    Loved that it was so close to the beach and a quick drive into city centre. The house was clean & tidy in a quiet street with a large enough living area where we could all congregate for a chat or watch a movie.

    Beautifully decorated home, natural light through the French doors and skylights. Beds so comfortable, very clean on a arriving. Bathrooms very modern & rain showers. Safe nice garden and outdoor area. A few minutes walk to the geograph bay. Owner was a delight to contact and lots of extra welcoming touches thank you Mel for sharing your beautiful holiday home

    Dunsborough Bay Beach House was a fantastic getaway for the weekend. Everything possibly needed was provided for our stay -plus more! Comfortable couch, beds, bathrooms and car parking! Beautiful walk to clear waters of bay. Mel was an amazing host! looking forward to planning another visit!

    First off I would say the host is one of the best I have dealt with, really quick response to my questions and more than happy to help out. The location is amazing if your looking to get away from the town but still close enough to enjoy. The beach is a stones throw which was perfect. The house was ok, I wish I read a few more reviews about what you actually get. For those looking dont do what I did and Google the house as you will be disappointed. The property is much smaller than you think. You basically get 4 minor double bedrooms, there is no master bedroom with en suite, which as adults is frustrating and did ruin the holiday a little. When you pay top money you would expect the whole house and with a master. If we got the whole house then it would have been a different story. Thank you

    We stayed at the house for 10 days leading up to and including Easter. We enjoyed the location, close to the beach but quiet and far enough away from the centre of Dunsborough to avoid the Easter crowds. We had up to 7 adults and 3 toddlers in the house and it did not feel crowded. Mel was a good host and checked in regularly to ensure everything was going well. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues but they did not impact our holiday. We reported them when we left and Mel is getting them fixed. We took 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed the runs on the beach a lot. Would stay here again.
