100 acres of Private Forest & Creek Waterfalls, 15-Miles of Trails

Nice relaxing beautiful mountain atmosphere. The house was perfect for our family. Lots of deer and wild turkeys to watch. Plenty of bedrooms and other areas to be together or for some alone time.

Perfect property for our family gathering! House was great for accommodating multiple family groups. Loved the big dining room table for bringing folks together. The property has great hiking trails (although you need to watch out for poison oak). Alicia and Michael were very helpful giving us the info we needed to get the most out of our stay. Michael even provided a bike tour of the trails for our groups' mountain bikers. Lots of wildlife--even an early morning bear sighting (from a very safe distance). Definitely a terrific trip.

We had a great time. Perfect for an extended family gathering, lots of activities to keep everyone entertained on the property as well as surrounding area. Deck offers a wonderful view and spot for morning coffee.

We loved the hiking trails and the little creek/waterfall just off the property. Very lovely patio area in front of the house with gorgeous view of the hills. Kids loved exploring. We found the home to be large enough, though pots and pans/kitchen accessories like dishwasher need updating and difficult to use. We had difficulty using some rooms (downstairs area can only be accessed via a bedroom) though we were able to make it work. Of note, the road to the property is relatively twisty so those with motion sickness should be forewarned.

This property was perfect for our family Christmas. Beautiful all around. The home was cozy and roomy at the same time. Well decorated and everything we needed was there. Plenty of rooms for everyone and the game room was a big hit! Would love to stay here again in the summer.

I hosted 8 guests for a yoga & wellness retreat. Alicia set us up with options for massage and horseback riding and was responsive with any questions. The trails are beautifully marked and we wandered through the woods down to the creek and waterfall. The campsites are groomed and marked clearly with a modern and updated bathhouse just for them. The rooms are clean and cozy. So many towels and blankets for extra convenience. The beautiful outdoor deck was perfect for sunset views, sound bath and yoga. We can’t wait to go back for next year.

We had a family reunion. It was perfect size for our family. Everyone had a bed. We had a lovely time together lots of room for playing games and eating at the lovely tables indoors and out. Lots of games to play. Grandkids had a ball. Yuba river felt really good, hot days. Air conditioning was awesome. wild turkeys were cool. Lots of room, great hiking from the house, two areas where groups of people could comfortably congregate. There were two kitchens! The family staying downstairs (one of my sons and his partner and my brother-in-law and his daughter) stored their drinks and snacks downstairs. There is an outside entrance to the downstairs family room and kitchen. If you fill all the bedrooms, the bathroom situation will be a little tight. There is one full bath in the master, another full bath upstairs that the other three bedrooms share, a third full bath upstairs between the kitchen and the fifth bedroom upstairs and a full bath downstairs for the two bedrooms to share. The house easily accommodated 14 people. Several of the generation in their 20's and 30's hiked down to the river. Deer and turkeys came right up to the house and hung out. There was even a baby deer on the property. The property manager was friendly, responsive and very accommodating, offering to find vendors for the various activities we planned. This is a very comfortable house with all the amenities.

This property was the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. We got married in the area, and this house was nearly big enough to accommodate all of us. My only comment would be to possibly have more trash bags available to the guests, maybe under the kitchen sink? While completing the checkout list, taking all the trash to the big trash cans would have been easier if there were more large trash bags available. Overall, great stay! Thanks!

This place was amazing! We had a very large group and had everything we needed. There were well maintained walking trails, plenty of chairs and areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors, and a wide variety of games and activities for ALL ages available (indoor and outdoor). Alicia, our host, was super helpful. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

Amazing property! We had such a lovely time exploring and enjoying the nature. Great house for groups with a wonderful homey kitchen.
