Board the Block Island Ferry in Galilee just 2 miles away. The ferry ride on the fast ferry is only 30 minutes and on the large ferry, about an hour. On Block Island there are many fun things to do with kids and adults. You can rent bikes, mopeds or take a taxi or even bring your own car over. Plenty of sight seeing, beaches, lighthouse tours, many restaurants, shops, bars, and horseback riding, farms, marinas, docks and the fabulous bluffs.
