Stayed May 30, 2025This is a great property in a good location. This is one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in. The owner has thought of everything to provide during your stay. The house was a short trip to downtown and many walkable restaurants right down the street. We would definitely return to this house.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025This house is so cute we absolutely loved it. The kitchen is fantastic and great for those of us who don't like to eat out for every meal. The location is great as you can walk so many places. The super cute ice cream place around the corner is a huge bonus as well.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Newly renovated 100+ home with modern day amenities. Small to medium size with everything you need as if you were home. The house had a good security system and easy to use in this historical area. Walking distance to a few new places and 1 mile from lots of restaurants, shops, historical attractions, and entertainment by the Cape Fear River. Look forward to going back and recommend this house.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, the renovation is unique and stunning. I wish we had more time to stay. The close proximity to downtown and local eateries is good as well. Nothing seemed more than 5 minutes away. We would stay here again, no problem!

Stayed Jun 19, 2024This is our first time in the area and this house is in the perfect location! Only 5-10 minutes from the beach and all of the beach front activities. It is not too far away but just far away enough to enjoy the locals. I am looking forward to visiting again and this house is my go to place. The remodel in the home is gorgeous! The kitchen had my husband volunteering to cook! The bathrooms are big and spaceous!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A wonderful renovation of a well lived historic home. The beautiful retreat was nothing less than 5 star. The beds bedding towels and linen- top of the line. The home was very clean, and our host had soap and shampoo amenities available- as well as other niceties. So easy for the traveler. We walked to Wilmington downtown area and had short drives to visit the beaches. Our host was quick to respond to a text question we had. We loved our stay and did not want to leave. We hope we can stay again soon.
