1 Mi to Beach! Family Gloucester Gem w/ Yard

Very cozy and comfortable home! Chris was a great host, very responsive and made us feel right at home. The home was clean and well stocked. Close to the water and lots of other great things in Gloucester.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and it's our favorite in Gloucester. This home was so comfortable, after 3 weeks we still didn't want to leave. There was so much to do in Gloucester ; whale watching, subs at Destino's, great Italian pastries at Virgilio's, fish and chips at the Causeway and picnics at Stage Fort Park, but we were always happy to walk the Boulevard and say hello to friendly locals and return to our home away from home that was absolutely sparkling clean and quiet. Honestly there was no way we would have been able to stay that long if we hadn't been so happy and comfortable. All the extra touches were much appreciated and we enjoyed reading the history of the house and family. We can't wait to go back!

Great place to stay and close to beach and easy drive to train stations. The house was perfectly clean and did not disappoint. Everything you need is there. We were comfortable and felt right at home. The quick drive to the train station was great for spending a day in Boston and Salem.

The property had so much charm. Most importantly, it was very clean and had everything we needed. Stocked with toilet paper, etc. and the communication with the owner made things easy. Very responsive and accommodating. Definitely would stay there again and recommend it to others.

We had a group of 5 stay here while we went on a fishing trip and the place was perfect! It was nice to sit in some rockers and relax after a long day on the water. The house was well equipped for all of us and the check in/out process was seamless. Would definitely stay again!

Home was very clean. Located about 1.3 miles from downtown Gloucester. Quiet area. Kitchen is stocked well if you want to run to market and grab food to cook. Took us about 20 minutes to drive to Salem and 45-55 to Boston depending on traffic. Close to Hammond Castle and 15min drive to Rockport. So a great location! About 1.5 hrs to lizzy Borden house. All must sees and doable from this location! Would definitely stay here again.

The home is clean and cozy comfy, and it has everything needed for a wonderful stay. The yard is big and the porches are great to relax outside. It's close to alot of sightseeing places. We so enjoyed our stay.

The Gloucester Home was in an excellent location just on the edge of town. Great little house with charm. Nice big yard with a grill which we used. House had everything you would need. Gloucester is filled with excellent restaurants and best of all the White Farms Homemade Ice Cream is just a minute away! Would definitely stay again. The host Chris was super to work with and very responsive to messages. Don't hesitate to book your stay.

Tucked away in a quiet part of Gloucester, this property could not have been more perfect for us. My husband and I are both in our mid-70's, and we travel often to Cape Ann to visit with friends and family. This rental is our favorite so far.The kitchen is well-stocked with everything one might need. Other properties often lack one item or another, so this was a wonderful amenity. The dining area is ample and comfortable. The living area is very cozy with pillows and throws and has a great television. The bedrooms have ample space for luggage and clothing, and the beds are very comfortable. Again, this is not always the case in other rentals; I have had my share of terrible beds! We loved having the two bathrooms, probably the main reason why this property appealed to us. They were beautiful, spotless, tastefully done, as is the entire house. Being just the two of us, we did not use the extra family room. However, I can see it being an excellent bonus room for folks traveling with children.Finally, Chris, the owner, could not have been more accommodating. Since no one was staying there ahead of us, he allowed us to check in early at no extra charge. Most rentals will charge a fee for early entry. He also checked on us via text to make sure all was okay and that he was available if there were any issues. There were not!We are certain to return to this lovely rental next time we head to Cape Ann.

This homes charm and cleanliness was top tier! Better than we could imagine,or photos online could capture. It was refreshing to walk into a fresh, spotless, and comfortable home. The Home has a perfect floor plan for a family, or two! The split floor plan with multiple TV rooms and large kitchen set up… with everything you could need to run a functional home. The view from the back porch was gorgeous and at night the sky was enchanting. The home is located centrally to everything! The water front views, close to downtown, and the beautiful Hammond castle. We had a wonderful experience! We will remember this house in Gloucester forever! Our favorite part of the inviting features of this home, are the guest book history behind it! A family generational experience available to the public. Take advantage of this experience! So glad we did. 10/10 I’d stay again! Thank you, Chris, for being a part of our family memories.
