Stayed Apr 1, 2026Communication was great. Indoor pictures are as described. Outdoor is slightly deceiving as there are run down houses 2 homes over. Does not feel like a very nice area. Also not pictured is the massive construction project that begins at 5am. While this is 1 block to King street, it would be a hike in that its the very end of where shopping and restaurants are. Fine for a short 2 night stay but would not return to this area or this house.

Stayed Mar 22, 2026Property was great but I wish I knew about the location being smack in the middle of a construction zone. The property sits in the middle of a block with construction on both sides. The city has pulled down some old industrial building and putting in apartments or condos. We had a crane running all night lifting steel up to the roof of the building directly across the street. It was unnerving to say the least.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025The location is fantastic and walkable everywhere! Once the construction in the area ends it will be even easier. Unit was clean and check in and out were easy! Only small challenge was the noise level at night in the front bedroom but the provided sound machine helped.

Stayed Jul 3, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at this Charleston home! The house is SO cute, decorated beautifully, and feels so welcoming the moment you walk in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were great, and everything was spotless with plenty of fresh towels and linens.The location is also fantastic … literally a 30-second walk to King Street and just a couple minutes walk to Uptown Social, Mesu, Félix etc. and tons of other amazing bars, restaurants and shops.Our host was one of the friendliest and most communicative people I’ve ever booked with. They made everything so easy and were an absolute pleasure to chat with. Check-in was seamless, and everything about our stay just worked out perfectly.I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a 10/10 and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed Mar 29, 2025The property was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. The set up worked well for our family. Short walk to King Street. Parking was an added bonus, with narrow driveway as described in the post. We would choose to stay here again if we returned to Charleston.

Stayed Oct 10, 2024Overall, this was a great VRBO and the host was very responsive. Details that detracted from the visit included things like: two wine glasses in the home that sleeps 7-8 people, broken dishwasher top rack, no coffee filters (but complimentary ground coffee), clogged bathroom sink, and the fact that the house is located in the midst of a construction zone and we had to deal with construction noise during the day. These were all pretty minor issues and the host responded in a way that we were satisfied with but some guests may have found these things to be more problematic than a minor nuisance. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the beautiful fall weather.
