Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 2 bedroom / 1 bath, 40 foot mobile home (RV) that sits on what is described as a ‘drive thru’ or ‘pull-through site’ which is a more spacious/comfortable site when compared with others sites in our community. Our home has been gently used and is very clean. The primary bedroom the RV has a queen size bed and a 32 flat screen smart TV. The front bedroom is furnished with a twin size bed. This unit will comfortably sleep 4 people as the living room area has new futon sofa that converts to sleeps one adult or two small children. There is a 40' flat screen smart TV in the living room. The kitchen is equipped for most cooking utensils. Guests can enjoy dinning outside in our cozy, screened in terrace which also has a new flat screen TV. Cooking amenities include an outdoor gas BBQ grill, a brand new 3 burner camp stove as well as an outdoor refrigerator. Our home is equipped with 24-hour video surveillance tailored for OUTDOOR areas only, these areas are open and visible to anyone to see.

Amenities include but are not limited to; wireless internet, televisions - inside and outside. Our site is located within walking distance to the heated community pool. The pool area includes a wonderful 2nd story deck that overlooks Buttonwood Bay for sunbathing, catching our incredible sunsets from this top deck is a popular daily activity. We also have a basketball, tennis, and pickle ball courts. We have a fenced in children's playground and a boat ramp among other things. The boat ramp is on a first come, first serve basis on Buttonwood Bay, overnight docking is not permitted (please refer to Calusa’s rental guest boating rules for exact details and fees Calusa imposes). If traveling by boat/watercraft, access to the ocean side is approximately 8 miles by crossing through either Marvin Adams Cut or Tavernier Creek. The Campground also offers public bathrooms with showers and laundry facility machines.

We are located at mile marker 101. Roughly across the street (across the Overseas Highway) is the Tradewinds Plaza center which conveniently includes a Publix Super Market. Not far away is the world-famous John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (first undersea park in the U.S.) which offers visitors unique experiences with its incredible coral reefs and marine life. There, many visitors enjoy glass-bottom boat tours, scuba diving, snorkeling, canoeing and kayaking; fishing is permitted in designated areas. Visitors can enjoy walking on short trails, picnicking, or swimming at the beach. We are also about 100 miles north of Key West (the southernmost point in the United States) which is famous for its watersports, lively nightlife, beaches, historic sites and its pastel, conch-style architecture. The Key Largo area offers some of the best seafoods restaurants in town.

Come and experience our beautiful Florida Key where sunset views and warm weather days await your adventure! Calusa will surely be a place to make memories with your family and even meet new friends while staying here. Come Getaway to Calusa!

Elba was an amazing host !! The camper and the outside space was adorable and very spacious. Elba was quick to respond with any and all questions we had she even gave us great tips on places to go in the area . We loved the campground so much that we decided to buy our own lot . The people we met there were great !! Also the food truck option on site was a must the food was amazing!!

We loved our stay here. It was very nice and well maintained. The area where it’s located is gated which was nice. There can be some noise at night but it wasn’t too bad. Pool was nice and the hammocks were a favorite! Only thing is I am 6’3” and felt a little crammed at times but still a wonderful place!

The property was wonderful. The great outside screened in area was the perfect place to spend relaxing afternoons and evenings. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens. The property owner was very easy to reach and always responded quickly with any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay. Elba was very thoughtful and made sure everything was safe for our 2.5yr old daughter and even left a surprise gift for both of our kids! The camper was very close to the pool and docks which was also really nice. The sunsets were amazing looking out over the water.

The trailer home had plenty of space for my sister and I while visiting KL. Beds to choose from, bathroom and shower adequate size. Everything is marked which makes it easy to find things quickly. Beds comfy, fan provided, coffee provided, a few bottled waters to get you started, all so thoughtful. The outdoor living space is amazing. The view of the bay is so pretty. The outdoor pool is very warm and nice to use along with other guests on the property. The location is convenient yet also tucked away. Would definitely return here!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. And most of the people were friendly. Only two of our neighbors had issues. One, a permanent resident across the street, has a motion activated light with about a million lumens which is way too sensitive. And the next door neighbors were up slamming stuff around at 5:30 this morning. I understand it's not our hosts who are the problem. Just be aware there may be renters next door.

We enjoyed our stay. The place we stayed was clean & as described. The pool was where we spent most of our days. The campground was close to grocery store, beach, other stores & activities. Traffic was usually horrid but nothing you can do about that. The only thing we could find wrong was outlets in kitchen didnt work but others were fine so we just worked around the issue. Not a big deal. We would stay here again!
