John Wayne made many of his best movies within a 50 mile radius of this location . Indiana Jones was filmed nearby and Thelma and Louise was filmed in this Town !! On your way to Moab and just 33 minutes to the north of down town

The parking was easy and secure. The internet was extremely slow at times. Easy commute to activities in Moab, UT.

My stay at the Preston / Nutter House was excellent! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The owner was informative and quick to respond to my questions. Close to Moab & hiking trails, like 35-40 mins away, the drive scenic was enjoyable. The last night there we were able to do a firepit and just enjoy the clear night sky with stars, it was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Check in and Check out was easy. The house was clean and had basic supplies. Perfect stay for a couple of overnights to visit the national parks if you don't mind a little drive.

This cabin was very comfortable for our family. We enjoyed having 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry machines, a full kitchen, and outdoor dining area. The stories about Mr. and Mrs. Nutter on the kitchen wall were fascinating. If you ever think you're tough, accomplished, or self-made, you need to read up on these two! The recliner sofas, TV, and DVD player made for some comfortable evenings after long days in the national parks. I'm afraid we were too busy to talk to the owners for long. We should have asked more questions. We saw a map in town indicating that the ghost town was further down the road. (At first, we were pretty sure we were staying in the ghost town.) We tried to drive down to the actual ghost town, but the road was washed out. I guess someone could get there with ATVs. The area is simply beautiful. There's an Exxon station very close for gas and supplies. Signs said the local cafe would open in 2023. I hope that goes well. This was a perfect stop while we were traveling with our two college age sons. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and modern. The setting is rural, vintage, and quirky. I'd love to go back.

House is clean and comfortable, great communication with host. Only one thing we didn't like is train track very close to the house and trains are running several times every night

We’ve stayed here on seven different occasions over the years. Always clean and comfortable, reasonably priced for what you get. Perfect spot for Side by Side riding (plenty of room for trailer parking)

This place was very clean and comfortable. It had the minimum (but enough) of what you would need to cook. Right next to a railroad track that only came through town one night. The rest was daytime hours 630pm and 630am were about the latest and earliest. But it was a gem town in a great location to the canyon and lots of cool places to get away from the crowds. Loved our stay

Just as other reviews stated: clean, quiet, roomy, picturesque, historical, etc. The place was near landmark listed in description. I will definately stay here again when passing through! Thank you!

We stayed at this house a year and a half ago during a mountain biking trip to Moab and enjoyed it so we booked it again this year. The location is a bit remote (about 35 minutes from Moab) but the house is nice, clean, and very roomy. Perfect for our trip and much less expensive than staying in Moab. If I do another trip to Moab I would come stay here again!

Absolutely loved the location. With a ghost town as a backdrop, the views and quiet are excellent. The only thing that may bother some- the trains in the middle of the night blowing their horns outside the cabin. I actually found it charming, and enhaced the old west vibefeel.
