Million Dollar View close to Death Valley and remote for Perfect Stargazing

Beautiful home with truly spectacular views! Misty and Marcus are both great and are super responsive in their communication! Lots of games for the kids, and family. They have a telescope for incredible star gazing! I would definitely stay with them again if we’re ever in the area! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The mountain view was beautiful and the back deck was awesome to relax and gaze at the stars. The entire place was immaculate and comfortable after a long day of hiking. The kitchen was fully equipped. The host was attentive to our needs especially presenting ideas for dinner. I would definitely come back!

This was so far the best hotel on my trip this year. The rest of hotels I was staying in this trip received one star, this one receives 5 stars. All was great. Very good property.

What a gem. Out in the boondocks in the little town of Amargosa with truly amazing views. We really wanted to walk right up to the mountains to the colors but it was probably further than it looked so we didn't try. We should have. Amazing night sky. Plenty of toys for kids like air hockey table, board games, mini arcade, etc., all in the outdoor space. There was AC in every room. One full and one bunk bed in one room and a queen in the other. At elevation of about 2600 feet, it was cooler than Death Valley, which was a very easy drive.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was in good proximity to Death Valley NP and had everything we needed and more.

Absolutely stunning location and views. It has all the facilities required for short or long stays (fully futted kitche, BBQs, laundry). Highly recommended

The property is great and the location is great. If you Need solitude this will do the trick. Will stay her again in the future and can’t wait to bring the whole family.

The thing we like the most was how close to Death Valley we were, just about an hour away. The quietness and the evening sky were beyond incredible. We saw lots of shooting stars and the milky way was over us and we could see it with our naked eye. Also the sunrise and sunset are beautiful. The views of mountains in front and behind the house are spectacular. The property was very well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here if you are going to visit Death Valley but you need to be aware that you are in a very remote location. GPS on our phones worked very well. We would stay here again.

The mountain view is outstanding as are the outdoor spaces with multiple places to relax and take it in. We enjoyed the entertaining games (foosball, Pac-Man, etc.). We also really appreciated the washer and dryer. Thank you for the great tip about arranging dinner at Martell Market. The food was delicious and Sunny was delightful! Location is ideal for access to Death Valley and fun in the desert, including Ash Meadows! We had a great stay and will return.

Incredible view, countless many stars, so much peace and quiet with easy access to Death Valley and a gracious and easy host made this stay one we'll remember forever!

We were worried that we would not be able to find it since we were coming after. It was totally dark outside. Instructions were perfect and we had no trouble finding it. The home had everything we need plus more than we expected. The condiments were already there and we did not need to concern ourselves. Beds were comfortable kitchen was perfect. We made ourselves at home after a long day hiking.

The home is small, but cozy. There is a small family run grocery store a few miles away. The home has everything you need for a visit to Death Valley NP. The night skies set this place apart. The stars are very bright and fill the sky from horizon to horizon. Super quiet and peaceful. If you go to the Park, consider the hike to the Red Cathedral!

The views were definitely a million dollar views, we stayed there on a new moon so it was really dark and we were able to see billions of stars!!! I wish we could’ve stayed a couple of more nights!!

I love sitting on the back porch and watching the desert and the mountain. Very very peaceful.

Loved the trip, convenient to death valley, secluded and quiet.

The house is in a beautiful and peaceful location about an hour outside of Death Valley National Park. Our party consisted of my husband and me, and a couple of friends from Denmark who were visiting us. The layout is perfect for either two couples, or for one couple and a family of four. The rooms are at opposite ends of the house, which is very nice for privacy. We really enjoyed all of the amenities, and especially love the large covered patio.

Misty and Marcus have set up a perfect spot for a family to enjoy the Nevada side of DVNP. No detail was spared and everything was extremely intuitive. We really felt like this place was home for a night! The front porch has lots of cool spots to hang out with some games to play. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with a nice fridge, pantry staples, and a filtered water tap. After we all had our fill of walking out to the Funeral Mountains, my niece and nephew loved all the games, books, and the Pac-Man machine. The only surprise we had was that the house is on a shared property with two other dwellings that all share a drive/parking area. Outside of that— there’s no one near you for acres. Great location with awesome amenities. We were just about an hour from Death Valley, and the kitchen made prepping for day trips very easy. Beautiful view of the mountains from the porch.

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals there during our stay. Misty was a great host! Would highly recommend if you want a great stay in a remote quiet area.

I loved this place. Nicely appointed. Lots of little details from coffee to extra toothbrushes. Had everything we needed to make our own meals. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Liked being able to star gaze at night. Fairly easy trip to Death Valley. Highly recommend!!

I love this place very much. perfect spot to enjoy the nature with family/friends. You can enjoy the location during light.

The home is as advertised. Beautiful with everything you need for a trip. Views are fantastic. Wish we had more time to stay at the rental! The only thing I didn’t realize was that there were two more rentals only about 10-15 steps from this property (one is the tiny house listed). It wasn’t an issue. I was just surprised. It will work out for our next trip. We hope to bring a group!
