Description

Comfortable, lovely, unique and eclectic English bow-ledged gypsy caravan located in a quiet neighborhood with private yard. Caravan has running cold/hot water, heat and electricity. Double bed, bench seats and desk.

Outside is a covered deck with outdoor kitchen: small fridge, hot plate, toaster oven. At the end of the deck, is a heated bathhouse with a modern composting toilet and sink- a private, outdoor shower, set amongst the trees adjoins the bath house.

A 80 foot path, lined with twinkle lights winds from street-side parking through the trees to the the Caravan and it's private and lushly landscaped yard with BBQ grill, picnic table and lawn chairs and umbrella.

The Caravan is equipped with fans, heat, wifi and of course the necessities for making coffee and tea. The kitchen has all the essentials for simple meal preparation including spices, honey, olive oil.

Easy access to downtown, the university and a river park with many trails. Free bus service just around the corner.

Designed for one or two quiet guests only, the Caravan is a sweet retreat from the road and reminiscent of simpler, quieter and pastoral times. Come for a night or a longer retreat. Freya, your host, offers oracle card readings that can be pre-arranged.

Good directions and easy check in. I was greated by deer eating fruit off the trees and ground. They didn't seem spooked by my presence at all. The rain during my stay sounded soothing on the caravan. Nice chill place, would highly recommend!

From the moment I stepped through the metal arch onto the path to the gypsy caravan, I felt the effect of the peaceful, magical property.Coming through the opening at the end of the path and seeing the caravan was breathtaking.. it was a fairytale, dream, fantasy of a time gone by; a time of Gypsy’s and a simpler life. It was perfection. A private garden, outdoor living area, shower and kitchen,.. beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and designed with everything I could possibly think of for my stay.The caravan itself a jewel….gorgeous floral linens, twinkle lights, desk, coffee station, bookshelves with well read perfect books, a small sink, heater and fan. I had the best sleep I’ve had in months I didn’t want to leave. It was so romantic.
