Big Little Hideaway offers a unique sanctuary where campfire spirit meets boutique tiny homes with a curated wellness menu designed to revive your mind, body, and spirit. Awe-inspiring nature serves as the backdrop for cherished memories, relaxation, and connection. Yoga classes are included in your stay!

** Potential guests! Starting 3/31 - June, we are building a new casita. We have discounted our nightly rates during the week, as Mon-Fri, our crew will be on site from 10 am -4:30 pm. If you plan to be off the property during the day, this shouldn't affect your stay. However, if a work site will disrupt you, please do not book with us! And save us for later in the summer!

Start your day with a cup of coffee on your private deck, while panoramic views of epic mountain landscapes unfold before you. Fill your day with the perfect itinerary and end the day looking up at the stars.

Our rural, secluded 5-acre property features 3 tiny houses (soon 4!) spaced 25+ feet apart, offering privacy and community. Hot springs, paddleboarding, hiking, and endless roads to explore are right outside the gate. Taos and Arroyo Secco are just 15 minutes away, where you can indulge in great food, explore galleries, and shop, or venture to the high alpine village of Taos Ski Valley, only 30 minutes away. There are so many opportunities for adventure and renewal.

Make your stay even more memorable by taking advantage of our menu of experiences... from yoga to sound bath classes, massages and body work, outdoor adventures, and guided night sky observations. Big Little Hideaway is truly a unique retreat, and we’re here to help you create the perfect getaway. Message us for details!

Built in 2021, The Bougie features colorful southwestern decor, high-quality bedding, and all the modern conveniences: a mini-split AC/Heat, a furnace for those super-cold winter nights, a three-burner stove, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, and a full bathroom with a tankless water heater. You'll love the giant picture window, private deck, and gazing at the stars at night.

While kids (and fur babies!) love the wide-open spaces to explore and play, parents can relax with the peace of mind that our property is tucked safely away from the main road.

Friendly and trained pets are welcome and encouraged. Please refer to our pet policy for details.

Feel free to wander anywhere on the property while respecting the privacy of the other guests. We’ve created little perches at the best spots, especially for sunrise and sunset. Everyone loves the hot tub, and though it is shared, we’ve never had a complaint that it wasn’t available.

We are a tranquil retreat space, and ask that all guests adhere to the 9 PM quiet time rule.

We’re located on a rural gravel road with a New Mexico True eclectic mix of adobe homes, earthships, modular homes, vintage trailers, and farms. You don’t need 4-wheel drive, though we do recommend it in the winter or at least snow chains on hand. Reserve your preferred tiny house now for peak-season nights and ensure your spot in this serene escape.

Lovely, remote location. Only would have been better without all the exterior lighting which made it harder to enjoy the stargazing!

The tiny home was nice. We were on a fishing trip. The location was about 45 minutes from costilla creek. The location seemed same and the property was clean. The hosts did an excellent job communicating. Will stay again when we are in the area.

This place was awesome-sauce. Tucked away from the action, but close enough to enjoy all the fun. And yes, the view from the outhouse is truly amazing - it's an extra thing, nothing you have to rely on:) It is a tiny home, but there was plenty of room for the two of us. The stairs up to the beds are a wee bit steep for those of us who are a not as spry as we used to be, but it was all quite doable. And they've worked hard to create a property with lots of fun touches. Plus, it's the first time ever that I've been associated with the word bougie. :) Thanks a bunch for the getaway!

This tiny home is unique and very homey. Close to Taos and a nice jumping off point for a visit to Santa Fe.

Wonderful, super clean tiny house with a shared hot tub! And the owner told me about the secret old school outhouse on the property that has a great secluded view if you leave the door open! We would definitely come back. Great hosts and fun place to stay!!

This was our first time staying not in a hotel, but we thought we’d opt for more of an adventure than a typical hotel room. And it perfectly delivered! Perfectly advertised, friendly & informative hosts, clean and cozy accommodations. Loved it!

A wonderful stay in unique accommodations. It was exactly as I expected and the remoteness and quiet was welcome. Thank you for putting those large windows around the bed. The weather cooperated on a few nights and the stars put on a show for us. How cool to be cozy in bed and seeing the stars surrounding us. The hot tub was a great addition. There seemed to be some construction/work being done around the property which took away a small bit of the ambiance but, I still highly recommend staying here. The hosts are easy to communicate with and the it’s a fun place to be tucked away.

This was the perfect getaway for my partner and I and our 9yo daughter. We were able to enjoy the outdoors with all of the amenities of a cozy home. The tiny house is adorable, with great design and super clean. The stars from the hot tub at night were magical. And my favorite part might've been taking a hot shower after the campfire and s'mores. Nothing but rave reviews for our stay and interactions with the hosts - just know that the loft with the ladder might be tough for someone with mobility issues. My 9yo loved it, and we could do it, but not everyone would be able to do it.

We loved our stay at the Bougie house. Views of the mountains were incredible. Cozy and well appointed. Excellent little typed directions pinned up at every possible point of confusion. No microwave but the gas stove is excellent. No cell service at all but wifi calling was great. We loved being able to let the dog out to run around inside the berm. My advice to other guests would be, don’t bring too much stuff because there’s not a lot of room for storage. We will totally come stay here again!!

The property was very clean and had all the important amenities. It was a little cramped reminding me of a midsize RV on wheels but the beautiful setting around us made up for any space issues for a family of 3. The host was very informative from pre stay to end of stay. My only complaint was climbing steps or ladders to bed at night after a long day of hiking and body soreness but I should have examined the property better. It is designed better for the nimble and young. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience In a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day’s hike, and the outdoor fire pit on our last night, also.
