Stayed Jul 18, 2025Such a relaxing stay! Never felt the need to turn the TV on as nature and the quiet was such a welcomed retreat! The bed and bedding were so comfortable. We did not want to get up in the morning! We enjoyed the breakfast that was provided and was able to make a coffee and take it back to our room. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 8, 2022I always enjoy my stay at this art-filled retreat near the banks of the Tippecanoe River, and I like this particular room for its light filled array of windows, easy access, and selection of photos and objects. The beverage options, fruit, and hot cereal nearby got me going, and I kept my other snacks in the mini fridge in the room. Next year I hope to stay at least a week. My parents, grandparents, greats, and a mess of relatives lived here over the past 150 years or so and I like to go back and say hello when I can. I recommend Bill and Babe's (in the nearby town of Pulaski) for fried perch, walleye or all you can eat bluegill. Also check out the town park and the Isis theater (weekends). Thank you, Linda, for a relaxing experience.

Stayed Jul 18, 2021Host Linda was wonderful. I'm so glad I tried this vrbo out. She helped me out of a jam and it ended up being the highlight of a months long trip. The Austrian Room was wonderful --- everything I needed, especially a really great night's sleep. Bed, bathroom, tv watching/reading area, frig, microwave, the grounds outside -- all five star. I will definitely be back. I want to try all the different lodging options! Thank you for your last minute save, Linda. It was memorable and calming. I will see you again.
