Stayed Dec 3, 2025We had a very nice room. We were quite comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom and shower was roomy and clean as the whole room. If we are in the area again needing a place, we will stay there again!

It was a bonus to have several coffee and tea options available anytime, in addition to fresh fruit and other snacks. The property was beautiful and peaceful with so many trees and plants. We would definitely return.

Stayed Sep 6, 2024My sister and I booked and stayed for a family reunion and celebration of life just after Labor Day. The property was clean and beautiful. It was a little tricky to find but the directions from the owner were great. She provided all the needed to info to get there and check in easily. We loved having coffee and breakfast items literally steps outside our door. We were n the Equestrian room and other family were in Tippecanoe. Hopefully we’ll be back again in a year or so.

Stayed Jul 7, 2023Several couples come to Winimac each summer for an annual float trip. This year some of us chose to book through Linda and it was a great experience. Our room was clean, exactly as pictured, and had a comfy bed! It was right on the river so it was a very pretty setting! Will definitely be my go to each year!

Stayed Oct 27, 2022We wanted to visit both the JP Wildlife Area to see the migrating Cranes, and the Tippecanoe River State Park, and were fortunate enough to find this lovely place to stay that is relatively close to both places. The charming town of Winamac and its unexpectedly large and beautiful town park was a bonus. The Tortuga Inn itself is a clean, comfortable, charming place to stay, in a quiet, secluded natural location close to the river and the town.
