The house overall was good, kitchen utensils are due for an upgrade upgrade. While the proximity to trails and services is great, we weren't fans of the neighborhood. The other neighbors made us feel unwelcome due to their signs and stares. We were quiet and respectful guests however. While the home was very nice, we didn't feel it was a good value for the $$.

However they let me know about the inconvenience and gave me 2 options for my group. We chose this cable style house, it had enough space for 9 adults plus a toddler (and 2 dogs). Location was close to the hwy but didn't feel like it. It is next to a river but from our point of view it's not a spot to fish or swim. We had fun walking around, but there are other houses super close by but with the leaves and foliage you can kinda ignore them.

The Wi-Fi worked great—even with three people on video calls. The big dining table, hot tub, and firepit were solid perks. However, there are several things future guests should know.Despite being listed as ADA accessible, there are no ramps and several steps, including a sunken living room with a drop behind the couch that was a tripping hazard for some. The layout was not accessible for guests with mobility challenges.The house says it sleeps 10, but wasn't stocked accordingly. We quickly ran out of paper towels, napkins, trash bags, laundry tabs, and towels. There were no Kleenex or foil/baggies. The knives were dangerously dull, and there was no sharpener or steel.Sleeping arrangements were cramped. Two downstairs rooms had full-size beds (not queens), which made it difficult for adult couples. The upstairs king had a yellow stain we didn’t notice until we stripped the sheets at checkout. The bunk room upstairs had three beds in one room, which wasn't made clear in the listing.The downstairs middle bedroom smelled strongly of mildew, likely due to past water damage near the hot water heater. Hot water in the kitchen was also inconsistent.There was firewood on-site but no key to access it, even though a key for the hot tub was provided.On the plus side, management was responsive—even answering our call promptly on July 4th. The neighborhood was quiet, scenic, and safe, with lots of parking.Overall, the cabin has potential, but it needs more accurate advertising, better supplies, and some updates to earn a higher rating.

There were only a few things that could have been a little better. First, there were rusty nails all over both decks and when we first arrived there were specks of dirt on some of the beds as well as one of the bedside tables being sticky. Another thing to note is that this cabin is not remote. There are neighbors very close by and lots of them have signs that have very strong opinions about vacation rentals. The bbq was also very dirty and didn’t have a full propane tank but the host was very prompt with bringing us a new one! Overall, the cabin was awesome and we would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious yet cozy and close to all the scenic spots we wanted to visit. We loved the living room with the tall glass windows and the fireplace. My son loved the shutter opening from the upstairs bedroom to look down into the living area:) cool feature :) Kitchen had ample supplies, dinnerware etc to enjoy breakfast at home. We had a relaxing getaway!

My friends and I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Eagle Falls. Everything was exactly like the listing, with gorgeous views of the forest out the huge windows in the living room, and tons of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was large enough to let several of us cook together, and it was extremely well-stocked. The entire property was very clean, including the hot tub, which we used multiple times a day. This is a perfect place for a larger group to stay and enjoy the nature of Mt Hood together.

This property has everything you need. It is surrounded by other houses, but you wouldn’t know it. The hot tub, fire pit, three decks and huge living area all make this property a place you want to come back to.

Our family enjoyed a lovely stay together in this large cabin in the foothills of Mount Hood. There are three full bathrooms (though make sure both doors in the one are locked if you are using it as it is also the back-door entrance!), a washer and dryer (very helpful with 8 people staying for four nights), a kitchen that is equipped with everything you need, a super-large dining table, and a hot tub. We were comfortable and all felt we could have privacy when we needed and large space to enjoy each other when together. The location is perfect. We wanted to be in the woods, and we were. Lovely paths to follow and access points to the beautiful river. Easy drive further up the mountain for trails, lakes, and access to the mountain. The only complaints - and they are minor - is the reservation process between VRBO and the actual property management team was a bit disjointed and there are small maintenance issues or inconveniences at the cabin: 1) there is a leak under the kitchen faucet that is obviously well-known, 2) there is absolutely no counter space in the upstairs bathroom - though the jetted tub (make sure the jets are pointed down and not up!!!) does help to improve the score for the room.

We loved our stay at Eagle Falls. The layout of the cabin is cozy but doesn’t feel cramped. The neighbors are close by, but it didn’t bother us. Excellent location near lots of beautiful trailheads and great restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.
