Eastwood Lodge is situated conveniently next to footpaths leading to Walberswick and Southwold. It’s located between Blythburgh, an enchanting Suffolk village with historical Anglo-Saxon connections, and Walberswick, a popular seaside destination and home to several stars.
The lodge is situated in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve, a fifteen-minute walk away from the captivating Walberswick town, and its stunning beaches.

The lodge is comprised of five separate units:

On the ground floor, there is the main unit and a smaller unit, with three more units on the first floor, which have a range of set-ups to meet the needs of a variety of guests.

This particular flat is located on the ground floor and is the only fully self-contained unit within the lodge. With one and a half separate bedrooms and one full bathroom, it can sleep up to five people. The main bedroom houses a king, the half bedroom contains a bunkbed and the sofa folds out into a bed.

Despite dating back to the 1900’s, the unit is fully equipped for your modern needs, with a Smart TV and internet, and a kitchen with a four-burner cooker, oven, microwave, toaster and a fridge/freezer.

Firstly, there are communal washing facilities, which consists of a washing machine, clotheshorse and a large sink. Additionally, the guests are encouraged to enjoy the vast garden which surrounds the lodge and are welcome to bring their dogs, at an additional charge of £10 payable in cash to the housekeeper.
However, please be aware that there is a working farm next-door, which is not part of the lodge, so we kindly ask the guests not to enter this property out of respect for the farmer.

Lovely property and rural location. On issue we had was that being as it is an old building that has been separated into multiple units we had a lot of noise transferred from the unit/flat above us. The people above were up and about through the night and very early in the morning and their walking about vibrated/rattled the bedroom door and ceiling.

Pleasant location and easy check in process. Remote location but easy walking distance to Walberswick. Lovely selection of breakfast items at the property. Would benefit from some net curtains and blinds at the windows for privacy and the boiler is quite noisy

This is a flat and the children’s bunk beds were next to an oil boiler which smelt very strong and the whole flat was roasting hot. We only stayed 2 hours and left as our young dog couldn’t handle the flats noise and other dogs barking. Just was not right for us as a family but could be fine for others with less sensitive dogs.

The title says it all, lovely little flat as part of a big house. Beautiful surroundings nice and quiet area perfect for a little get away, Easy instructions from the vendor and really nice little quirk to find a fresh loaf of bread, cereals, yoghurt's and tea / coffee. I would definitely stay again and would reccommend it.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the property had everything we needed. It's in a perfect spot for a short off road walk into the village which has great facilities. Will definitely go again
