Description

Hóll in Siglufjörður is a unique gathering house with a great history and a strong connection to sports and social life. The house is located in a great location in Siglufjörður. Major improvements have taken place at Hóll since 2021. The whole house has been renovated from A to Z.

The house is suitable for groups of all kinds. The main house accommodates 19 people and the apartment additional 8 people, so in total there is accommodation for 27 people, it is possible to add some floor mattresses for larger groups.

The main house has 3 toilets and 6 showers, there is also a spacious sauna. The kitchen is fully equipped with new kitchen appliances and equipment. The house has a spacious and cozy dining room with sofas and TV. Powerful portable speaker (Soundboks 3) and a large smart TV are on site. On the upper floor of the house there are 7 bedrooms, a toilet and a TV corner with a cozy sofa. There is a large gas grill (BBQ) on site, it is also possible to provide extra gas grill for larger groups. There are also tables and chairs on the outside terrace.

An annex has been newly renovated, which is connected to the main house, with a separate entrance. There are 4 bedrooms with good beds for 8 people. There is also a small kitchenette and a toilet with a shower. The apartment is a great addition for larger groups that need more sleeping space. You can rent the apartment with the main house or not. The apartment can be rented separately for smaller groups.

It has been a tradition to camp by the house during the summer, and electricity has been installed for campers. Tents by the house will only be available for guests with the main house for rent, for an additional fee.

The apartment is only rented with the main house for bigger groups.

Late 2022 or early 2023, the house will accommodate around 35 and it will then be possible to host larger groups. Improvements are still being made at Hóll and exciting additions will soon be available.

We stayed at Holl adventure house for 3 nights and had the best time with our 23 guests. It was the perfect venue that had everything- beautiful scenery for our outdoor ceremony, a great kitchen and dining area for dinner and the cool bar/reception space with heated floors, a pool table, ping pong table, darts, a keg and more! On our last night we were lucky enough to enjoy the northern lights sitting in the hot tub! Truly an unforgettable and amazing place. We hope to return one day and loved every second of staying here.

The property is ideally suited for a large group (we had 14 writers for a retreat). Lots of walking trails, charming Harbor town, kitchen and dining set up to accommodate groups. We had sone bad weather but were cozy and warm.
