Center Hill Lake Lodge Near Hurricane Marina

This house was designed very nice. All bedrooms and baths provided privacy. The screened porch was lovely. There seemed to be a major plumbing problem. Being instructed not to flush toilet paper was disgusting. I saw a review from January of this year that mentioned the same complaint, but assumed the problem had been fixed...not so. When using the lower level bathroom, water was over the top of feet by the time a shower was completed. There was a strong sewer gas odor until we started closing all draines not in use. The gas fireplace would not stay lit. After 1-2 minutes it would extinguish, and the whole process of lighting the gas logs would have to be repeated. We were never able to watch TV in the lower level, and in the loft the available channels was limited. No batteries in most of the remotes and extra batteries were corroded. Written instructions for operations would have been nice, if we could have gotten to that point. Outside steps were treacherous. Railings were loose in some places. If repairs would be made, this could be an excellant rental property. It has great potential!

This cabin was so pretty and peaceful. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and there were so many towels ( usually there are almost enough but not quite). Communication was quick and clear. It was a great stay! Thank you

This property is beautiful! Furnishings and cleanliness is top notch. The only issue we had was not being able to put the toilet paper into the toilets due to some septic tank issue. We've never encountered this in the Center Hill Lake area. If we had known this we would not have booked the home.

Great home. The parking was a bit challenging for more than 2 vehicle's but we managed just fine.

I realize and am the first one to admit, one size, one situation, one condition does NOT fit all. So, if cleanliness and healthy indoor air quality are NOT important to you - go ahead, knock yourself out. This a great place to stay! If scary steep, tilted sideways, unlighted at night driveways with no room to turn around at the bottom are NOT important to you - go ahead and knock yourself out. You'll love getting in & out of the driveways! We traveled 1,000 miles from home to experience this. If inaccurate property description leaving out important details to make an informed decision does NOT bother you - come on down! Be surprised! Now, if these issues had been thoughtfully included in the property description I wouldn't be giving this property & experience a 5 Star review. I WOULDN'T BE LEAVING A REVIEW AT ALL !!! MY WIFE & WOULD HAVE BOOKED ELSEWHERE!
