Stayed Jul 27, 2025Beautiful property in a fantastic location within walking distance to the city centre. Sadly, we had to cut our stay short so only stayed for 2 days but would definitely come back for a longer holiday.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025Had an Amazing stay here! Franke was a great host & provided many special touches. In a convenient location, near the Anne Frank house. Lots of yummy food all around- there was a small grocery nearby-named JUMBO - where we purchased cheeses & pastries to munch on! We had such a wonderful time on our visit!

Stayed Oct 23, 2024Staying on Fake’s Houseboat was an incredible experience. The boat itself is extremely comfortable and has every conceivable convenience you could imagine. The location is perfect. Being able to sit on the back patio whilst watching the canal boats and ducks drifting by is a really unique experience. It’s a very relaxing way to spend a visit to Amsterdam. Fake is a great and accommodating host and I highly recommend his houseboat as a base for your Amsterdam vacation.

Stayed Jun 5, 2024Perfect location, perfect place, only surpassed by a perfect host. My wife and I enjoyed this wonderful houseboat for 3 nights and had a great time. We loved sitting on the back deck while the tour boats went by and enjoyed feeding the ducks each night. We loved meeting Fake, the host and he could not have been more responsive to our needs. We hope to visit again!!
