Formerly the sailor's cabin, Pixxl has been totally renovated to welcome travelers wishing to live their stay in Metz in a different way. We had a perfect stay on the big orange houseboat from Gill. The boat have all necessary things on it and it's very beautiful. Unfortunately we booked only one night. The next stay will be longer.

We loved staying on the big orange barge! It was cute and fun and peaceful. Very small, but well furnished. We even managed to cook dinner for 4 in the tiny kitchen, and we crowded into the wheelhouse to eat. We did not invite the guests to stay overnight though, that would have been too much! Gilles was very nice, communicative, flexible and responsive. I highly recommend staying here (if you're no taller than 5'10!) for a unique stay near the center of Metz. Lovely walks along the canal, both towards town and away.
