Best Kept Secret! House Boat 70' Has Everything!

We really enjoyed staying on Johnny and Ellen‘s houseboat! It was the first time we had that experience and it exceeded our expectations! There was so much room, the bed was so comfortable! It was very well stocked with many amenities, including wine, coffee, all kinds of toiletries, and the beach chairs were much appreciated! It was relaxing sitting up on the upper deck, watching the boats go in and out while watching the sunrise and sunset! Johnny was excellent at communicating with us and was very approachable with any questions asked! I wish we could have stayed longer than two nights! I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

Great. Snorkeling and fishing tours launch within walking distance. Enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck and upper deck watching the fishing and dive boat parades.

We loved our stay on the houseboat! We especially enjoyed the boat traffic on the canal! There are lots of restaurants around and the location of boat was very convenient! Sitting on the upper deck was so pleasant and the sunsets were truly beautiful!

Very enjoyable stay on this houseboat. It was fun just to sit on the deck with a drink and watch the other boats go by. Lots of pelicans, ibises, seagulls, (even vultures,) etc, to observe. More of a unique experience than staying at a regular hotel/motel. Plenty of space, kitchen had what we needed and more, clean, and a good location for all of our planned activities on Key Largo. You can walk to some of the fishing charter docks and are only minutes from Pennekamp state water park. Temperature controls worked well, as did the entertainment system.Johnny the host was accessible via text and the app and responded promptly to our inquiries. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

This was AMAZING! We came to Key Largo to scuba dive and had fishing charters! The houseboat was clean and just an amazing experience! I stayed there with my 15 yo son and he thought it was the ABSOLUTE COOLEST THING! I don’t think I will be able to get him to stay anywhere else in Key Largo! Johnny was in contact the whole time and I HIGHLY recommend this rental if you are looking for something a little bit different! My son is loving telling his back to school friends what he did in Florida! And a key thing is living on a freaking 70 ft houseboat!

Morning coffee on the upper deck and watching the stars at night listening to live music from Sharkeys. Super spacious, cold ac, convient to all the local things. Id highly recommend this place.

We had to cancel ! Do to fires.The roads to Key Largo were closed! Johnny was great, he helped us get our refund.Looking forward to booking at a later date!!!

We had such a nice time on the boat. It was close to bars and restaurants and just a great location. Being able to use the pool at the hotel was a huge plus. We had very good communication with the owner and his sidekick Melvin. The boat is spacious and nicely laid out. We were all glad we stayed here.

We loved staying on the boat. It was fun watching all the boats going through the canal as we sat on the deck. We will stay again if we’re back to Key Largo. The host and property manager both responded quickly to our questions.

Very convenient to many places on Key Largo either in driving or walking. Lots of room on the boat both inside and out. Owner was very responsive when contacted. We enjoyed sitting on bow watching the boats go by.

The boat had a few issues we had to call about when we arrived. The maintenance man came and things were worked out. I have found lately that vacation rentals are not all that together anymore …I gave this one good ratings because the owner was so willing to make it right for us and he even extended us an offer to stay a few extra days for free, We had travel plans but I was really impressed by him and the maintenance men

great way for an adult family to get together

It was and unexpected surprise when we arrived at the houseboat(our first ever) all of its 70’.The beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms were both very spacious and clean. It was like being in a condo on the water. The upper deck was very relaxing place to watch the boats. We appreciate the care and personal touch provided.

Excellent vacation spot. Quite relaxing and fun to stay on a houseboat. Johnny was a very good host, responsive to any of our questions. Check in was very easy with plenty to do in Key Largo. We would stay again if we go back to the Keys.

Clean, quiet, classic house on the water! Incredibly cozy master bedroom with super comfortable bed. TVs everywhere including large screen in the living room. Good internet, surprisingly large fully equipped kitchen. Convenient parking, lots of restaurants and hiking trails nearby. No issues booking, checking-in or out. Was looking for a replace to relax and this exceeded expectations.

We were a group of four friends celebrating birthday. The houseboat was perfect! Thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop deck, especially. Easy and prompt communication with the owner. Check in was a breeze.

We arrived and the property was not clean. Contacted the owner and he was very friendly. He lived 5 hours out of the area and was not aware of the issues. After 3 hours I had my refund so we could book at a nearby hotel.

Lovely weekend despite storm Debby !! The teenagers in our group thought the boat was very quirky and enjoyed their room below deck .

The houseboat was awesome! Great location right down from Rainbow Reef Dive Center. The beds and couches were super comfy and we had all we needed for a nice stay.
