Walk to Bourbon St & French Quarter | 3BDR Suite

Some buildings just have a story — this one had a starring role. On iconic Canal Street, The Harlequin was once home to New Orleans' first movie theater, and that cinematic spirit still runs through the place today: a landmark building reimagined as a collection of stylish, design-forward apartments where original character meets the ease of home.

You'll be staying in one of the most walkable spots in all of New Orleans, with a perfect 100/100 walkability score. Step outside andthe best of the city is right there — the French Quarter a few blocks away, the buzz of Bourbon Street within minutes, and Jackson Square, the Saenger Theatre, and the St. Charles Streetcar line all close enough to reach before your coffee cools. Grab beignets at Café du Monde, stroll the historic French Market, or wander the riverfront and let the live jazz find you.

The Three-Bedroom Suite is a calm retreat from the city's happy chaos, with room to spread out. Three private bedrooms, each with its own queen bed, comfortably sleep six — ideal for families, friend groups, or a couple of travel companions who'd rather not share a room. Newly refreshed interiors bring curated art, considered design touches, and every essential for a seamless stay, while the fully equipped kitchen makes group dinners in easy and a cozy living area with a smart TV pulls everyone together after a day of exploring. Hearing-accessible options help make every guest feel genuinely at home. In select suites, expansive windows pull in the glow of Canal Street below.

Come for a show at the Saenger, the city's world-famous cuisine, or a night out in its legendary music scene. The Harlequin keeps all of it within reach, then gives you a stylish, well-appointed place to land at the end of the day.

We have multiple spaces at this property, each designed to give you a beautiful place to stay. While our style is consistent, the view, layout, and design may vary.

Canal Street is one of New Orleans’ most storied and dynamic thoroughfares, a place where the city’s past and present come together in full color. Once known as the “neutral ground” dividing the French and American sectors, today it’s the heartbeat of downtown, connecting the French Quarter to the Central Business District and beyond. Lined with grand architecture, historic theaters, and the famous streetcar line, Canal Street offers effortless access to everything that makes New Orleans extraordinary. From here, you can wander to jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street, shop along Magazine Street, or catch a performance at the Saenger Theatre. And when it’s time to slow down, the Mississippi Riverfront and leafy squares provide the perfect contrast to the city’s lively rhythm. Whether you’re here for the music, the food, the festivals, or the unmistakable spirit that fills the air, Canal Street places you at the center of it all.
