Experience the energy of New Orleans at The Eleanor, a vacation rental in the heart of downtown — just minutes from Bourbon Street, the French Quarter, Caesars Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Whether you’re visiting for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a concert, or just to enjoy the city's legendary nightlife, dining, and shopping - our location puts you steps from it all.

The space is great if traveling with family, friends, or any type of group. The space offers 4 bedrooms, 3bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining table and living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa. All bedrooms have a king bed. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo while the other two bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The living room offers a 65” TV and the bedrooms have a 55 TV, all with streaming abilities. Each unit has a stacked washer and dryer and clothing steamer for use during your stay as well.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the property. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk. This area is designated as non-smoking.

We have a designated vaping area located on the 9th floor of the building. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in our units and will set off our state of the art smoke alarm system.

The Eleanor New Orleans Vacation Rentals are located in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Ave featuring 31 units that are 3-6 bedrooms and range from 1,178-1,959 sq ft. We are a locally owned and operated hotel in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Avenue. Our arrival process is contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay.

While our vacation rental does not offer parking, there are two public parking facilities conveniently located directly below the property. Rates are generally $20-30/24 hours (but will increase during special events and festivals). The two parking options are located just below our property. Park First Saratoga Garage #1025 and has a height clearance of 6’4”. The other option, ParkMobile Zone 50408 (surface lot), is also directly behind our building for overflow or oversized vehicles.

Amtrak (train) and Greyhound (bus) Stations – 0.7 miles, easily accessible via the Union Passenger Terminal via Canal St Streetcar (only $3/day on the Le Pass RTA app).

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) – 14.4 miles (approx. 20 minutes without traffic) – There are many Uber/Lyft/Taxi cabs at the airport that are readily available to bring you downtown.

The Eleanor is located on a streetcar line. Use the streetcar to get to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, City Park, Cemeteries and plenty of other areas along the way. We recommend downloading the Le Pass RTA app and getting a Jazzy Pass for getting around the city.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $135/stay (max 2 included). We have a designated pet relief area on the 9th floor, and there is also a grassy park located across the street from our units. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning to bring a pet.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for your stay for an additional fee of $300 for a 12pm arrival or $200 for a 2pm arrival. A late departure of 12pm would be an additional fee of $200 (an extra 2 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage pre- or post-stay, so if you need to guarantee an earlier arrival or departure, we recommend booking the night before or after in order to guarantee anything earlier than the 2pm arrival or later than a 12pm departure.

We only require light cleaning prior to departure – taking out garbage and washing any dirty dishes. All linen is professionally laundered between guests.

Reservations are not confirmed until the Rental Agreement is signed. The Rental Agreement link will be sent to you immediately after booking.

You will have private access to your unit. The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the building. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk.

    From the moment we walked in, we were extremely pleased with the property and location. It allowed us to be close to restaurants, shops, tours, and galleries. The property is in a secure building with four very nicely sized rooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen is highly functional, and the living space is spacious. The building amenities are also very well-appointed. Communication with our host was informative, consistent, and very timely at both check-in and check-out. There could not have been a better location for our vacation.

    The location of the Eleanor condo is perfect for exploring all of the tourist destinations in New Orleans. You can walk to restaurants and see the sights. The pool and hot tub were perfect escapes from the city, being on the roof really gave it an oasis feel. The condo itself was spacious, comfortable and the perfect space for our family.

    The property was great. Beautiful and clean apartment. Lots of space! The roof top pool was lovely. About a 10 min walk to Bourbon Street. Would definitely recommend!

    Traveled with my husband, MIL and two teenage boys. We each had our own room and we each had our own bathroom (teenagers shared a Jack n Jill). The location was perfect, as it was not in the chaos of bourbon st, but close to so much! The street car was a block from the condo, but a 10-15 minute walk to anywhere you wanted to go! The condo was stocked with dishes, pots and pans and Glassware. You would need to buy spices, foil, etc if you wanted to cook. It was not a problem for us as we ate out every meal. Beds were very comfortable and we loved having a washer and dryer right in the condo. Great place to stay and would stay again!

    We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and perfect locations! We didn’t use the pool, but it had lots of seating and clean! The windows overlook the outside parking lot, where we parked since our truck was over the height limit of the parking garage. Beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again.

    Great place to stay. We were able to walk to just about everything downtown. We had one issue but was quickly resolved by the manager. Loved being able to park in the garage beneath too. Very clean and spacious. Great for families too

    The apartment was beautiful and clean. Exactly as pictured. The parking garage situation was a little confusing at first but it was fine once we got it figured out. The pool and hot tub area was amazing. My only issue is I wish the parking garage was more secure, there are several homeless people that go in and out of it. The neighborhood has TONS of homeless people that are there the minute you walk out the door. I would stay there again for sure due to how nice and secure the actual apartment complex is. Overall we were VERY satisfied ? and Shane the property manager was very quick to respond to any questions.

    Down town New Orleans isn't super kid friendly but this place was perfect for our large family.
