Fantastic B&B, incredibly neat & tidy & with all the necessities to make for a very comfortable weekend stay. A well-stocked fireplace for cold & wet winter nights was a treat. In a great location to visit all the delights of Red Hill & the surrounds.

The property is gorgeous and so cozy with the wood fire, and the heated bathroom floor and towel rails are very luxurious. The cottage is meticulously clean, bed super comfy and linen was lovely. We were very charmed by the three sheep. Plenty of walkable options for food and drinks, we enjoyed lunch at the brewery and a wine tasting at Red Ridge (both practically across the road).

Lovely sited property on a property with isolation and rural surrounds plus sheep. Close to many wineries, good local shop and the red hill rail trail. Very comfortable, nicely equipped, no oven or dishwasher if you are inclined to cook and make a mess. No washing machine if you have longer stays in mind. Perfect for couples and ideal for exploring the peninsula/ don’t miss montaltos, rare hare, point Leo estate and merricks store for dining and sculptures.

My partner and I had a wonderful three-day stay at Stringybark Cottage B&B. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect base for exploring the Mornington Peninsula. The cottage was immaculately presented, well-equipped for self-catering. I loved the large, modern bathroom with soaker tub! Our host's breakfast provisions, featuring farm-fresh eggs, fresh bread and raspberry jam were a delightful touch. With so much to discover in the region, we hope to return soon. We highly recommend Stringybark Cottage B&B to anyone visiting the area – it's truly spectacular!Thank you Sally! Cathy & John

Low key, quiet, charming, and beautifully maintained one bedroom weatherboard cottage in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. A lovely welcoming party in the form of three happy and friendly sheep in the adjacent fenced paddock. A great place to stay!

The cottage has been really well set up. It has a great sense if light and space, is very comfortable and practical The bathroom in particular is great with the bath a welcome bonus. The rural outlook makes you feel like you are away from everything yet you are very close to Red Hill South. Just perfect for a couple wanting to get away from everything.

We loved our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. The bathroom was very well fitted and I really appreciated a good shower and modern facilities with getaway rentals Living area and couches were awesome and outdoor surrounds really deliver the feel of an escape to nature. We managed to develop a mini friendship with very sweet sheep in the neighbouring property. Yet a few minutes drive down the road and you're right in the middle of red hill. Would recommend for couples getaway
