Stayed Aug 13, 2025Generally, everything. Old fashioned building with totally up to date rooms. Staff particularly helpful and loved being offered a hot drink any time I was waiting in the foyer! Well done Royal Ashdown.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This locally run hotel provided an oasis after a full day of sightseeing. We received a warm welcome and were pleased at the bright clean spacious room that had all we needed. The laundry service was a welcome surprise!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Quiet, even though the room was downstairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a good supply of tea/coffee. The door to the bathroom needs attention. It does not close easily, and when fully closed, it was extremely difficult to open it. The shower temperature was variable. The design of the bathroom needs attention.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Hotel is within easy reach of Somerset County Ground and town. a quiet if small room. Bathroom needs some shelving for toiletries etc.
