Stayed Jul 31, 2025Host was very quick to respond to communication and check in process was so easy! Parking was right next to entrance and there were no stairs. Attention to detail was appreciated: hand-written welcome note, snacks, coffee & tea and even a glass of wine were available. The place is tastefully decorated and comfortable and everything seemed new. There were bikes available to borrow but we didn’t have time to take advantage of that opportunity. The location was extremely convenient, walkable to downtown and CalPoly.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025Butler Hotel is very well located. Check in and check out very convenient. I will not that some rooms/my room are on a street that was very busy and noisy on Friday night.

Stayed Jun 26, 2024Fortunately, we were thw only guests while we stayed there. The self check-in was quick and convenient. The small parking lot was thankfully empty. The host was nice enough to leave complimentary drinks. We liked using the french press for our morning coffee, and the overall ambience was pretty and modern.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024My husband and I stayed for a few days for a weekend getaway. This spot was the perfect location. Very short walk into town but enough to stretch our legs after enjoying the Farmers Market and the amazing food in SLO. The property was beautiful and well-appointed. Definite Yes!

Stayed Jan 3, 2024I’m sensitive to traffic noise & drivers seem to rev engines a lot at this busy intersection. But hotel provides earplugs, which helped. And I played my SleepStream app, which helped. Lots of great thoughtful touches - enjoyed my stay overall ?
