It’s a good place for a group but it wasn’t clean when we arrived. Paul was great and rectified the situation immediately.

We enjoyed our stay — the property is in a very convenient central location in Penticton, just a few minutes from a Walmart Supercenter and several other stores. There are about 4–5 dedicated parking spaces by the Apple Tree Inn sign, which made parking easy. The unit has all working appliances, and the fridge includes a built-in ice maker and water dispenser which was a nice added touch. The kitchen had a few basic cooking utensils, but you’ll still want to bring most of your own essentials. The AC is available, although it wasn’t very strong during the really hot days — something to keep in mind if visiting during peak summer. We were advised that the previous renter had left a few stains on the carpet and that they would be cleaned, which was appreciated. However, upon arrival, it was clear that most renters likely wear shoes in the unit as there are heavy foot-traffic stains throughout. It would probably be better if the carpet were replaced with laminate for easier cleaning and overall cleanliness, or professionally cleaned with a “no shoes indoors” policy.Check-in instructions were clear, although no check-out instructions were provided. We also had to request the Wi-Fi password, but the host was very quick and responsive to all of our questions.Overall, this is a convenient and functional place in a great location — and with just a few small improvements, it could be even better.

This is a very run down home at the front of a motel. Carpet stains everywhere, tired bathrooms, kitchen is adequate but has the bare minimum of utensils etc.A budget option for sure but for what we got I would still say over priced

Had enough room for what we needed for the weekend. Paul was great when we decided to book an extra night unexpectedly.

We were in Penticton when it was extremely hot. Our place had difficulty cooling down and Paul did everything he could, including bringing in a portable air conditioner to help bring our temperature inside down. This helped a little, possible new heat pump in the future. Otherwise lots of space for the family to socialize nice big kitchen and living room.
