Galleria Mall Hotel Walk to the Beach

My husband and I drove from NYC to Savannah with our dog. From savannah we were going to Ft Lauderdale. On our way to Ft. Lauderdale the property manager canceled our trip. I was three hours away from meeting my family in Lauderdale and just like that we had no where to Stay. Very hard to find something decent a few hours before that could accommodate us and our dog. We lost three days because each stay could only accommodate us for a couple of days since they were booked. So for three out of the six days we had to sit around in our car from 11-4pm until the next room was ready. I have used VRBO a few times and was so disappointed more was not done for us.

After our plane landed in Lauderdale, I called my hosts phone number, because I still had not received directions on picking up the key. The call would not go through. I called the helpline, and they attempted to call the host… With no success. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and explained that he would try to find another location for me and how far away from the original property was I willing to stay. We were there for two nights for a wedding with events planned both nights. The gentleman took all of my information and told me someone would call me within an hour. We pulled off the side of the road to wait for our phone call. After 40 minutes, we decided we better make our own arrangements and did so using Marriott points . We were thankful there were rooms available… The next morning I checked my email and saw that someone from your company had emailed me about another option. No one ever called me.
