Close to Attractions! Comfy Unit, Pool, Shuttle to Parks, Parking, Breakfast

The rooms are run down. Bathtub had been painted and chipping off. There was still hair in the bathtub along with a bottle top. The breakfast food was spongy and cold. I would not recommend staying here especially for all the extra fees they add.

Very nice stay

The hotel staff was great . The breakfast was also great. The building itself was very old . But considering the price it matched...

It was a good stay, except we could've get a luggage cart, there wasn't a coffee maker or microwave.

The room did not reflect the posting online. There was a very strange smelled overall the place was worn down.

Parking was supposed to be free but they tried to charge me. Breakfast wasn’t very good. Sausage patties were dry and eggs terrible.

Found cockroaches in our room. Room cleaning was suppose to be done every second day and all they did was leave towels, only made the bed once. The tall man at the breakfast room was trying to hook us up with women and trying to take pictures of us to send to them. We kept on refusing cause we are married men. Seems like there is some kind of human trafficking going on at this hotel. You definitely need to rent a car to get around from this location, all beaches are over an hour away. Only good thing is that it is close to theme parks.

Rooms could have been freshen up more but over all it was ok

Hotel was not kept well. Floor was dirty in room. Bathroom had mold, ripped shower curtain, looked to have been repainted a lot due to moisture. I asked for change for laundry room and they didn't have any. Would not stay here again.

It was good for the price

Was quiet, overall what we expected for price. Location to attractions where very close didn't use shuttle service due to returning time. Happy with overall service.

very much a 3-4 star. The rooms were clean and the water pressure was amazing. The pillows felt like pieces of foam broken up and shoved into a pillow case. Beware of hidden fees... there is a daily fee (forgot what they called it) and a fee to park your car. Front desk only ever had 1 person there and too many people taking up her time. I was overcharged for a day with a car when I hadn't even picked it up yet.... but too long of a line to get 20 back. Breakfast was not great - good mini muffins but powdered eggs (or something like that), burnt sausage patties...2 cereals to choose from...meh. Pool is not heated. Elevator broken.

There was no hot tube! All of the filthy washer and dryers were broken. The landscaping looked terrible. The breakfast wasn't that good, we went out to breakfast.

Room was not very clean had to keep shoes or socks or feet turned black- breakfast was hard pancakes and eggs both days in a row. Pool closes way too early for travelers!

Took very long to check in; 5-8 minutes per person, even with a standing reservation.Room had no working television and phone kept blinking red for messages, but no directions on how to retrieve and when I tried to call the front desk, no dial tone. We were told parking was free, but had to pay 15 a day

Room smelled clean and the carpets were well maintained. The pillows could have been bigger and the shower head needs an upgrade. Overall great stay.

We arrived early before check in time with a request put in a few weeks before for early check in. The front desk worker said I could not check in early because my reservation was just made. (I made my reservation 6 months prior)so I waited then had to ask if there was somewhere to store luggage so we could go eat. Very unhelpful

When we got into our room, the musty smell was terrible. Noticed the shower head was leaking and would not stop. Woke up the next morning to a cockroach in the sink, and the front desk didn’t think it was a big deal. Asked them to some and spray and they said they couldn’t. Will never be back and hoping for some sort of credit on our room. It was terrible.

Trashy. Shower curtain was torn and the rod was falling off the wall, floor was dirty when we got there, half a roll of toilet paper so it was previously used... trash behind the bed and the mattresses were springs but you roll towards the edge when laying on it from so much use. Just to check in took over an hour with 2 people in front of us at the front desk. I shouldn't have to check in to a hotel when im renting on the vrbo app, thats ridiculous...

Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice having transport to Disney, but would be helpful to have more than 1 time option. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast could have been better, it was just adequate.

Breakfast selection terrible, no extra blankets, pillow and bed lumpy and no working lamp.

Worth the read! Broken AC and completely cold, wet floor. Hidden amenity fees for horrible amenities. Didn't even eat breakfast it was so unappetizing. The gym is not a gym. I guess you could use the pool.. but we would have gladly opted out it wasn't anything special or worth the resort fee Tiny bathroom. Stains on sheets. Weird art looks like taken on Iphone... just not it. Was a place to stay that felt safe and I guess clean but for the price you could stay at a nicer bnb and get your own food. The people working were great and nice and professional no hate to them at all! However, they were understaffed in the middle of the night for a music festival when many people would be checking in... Just very ok stay.. nothing special and regretting my purchase. I wish my party and I could have stayed somewhere else.

Overall it was pretty decent for the price but the tv and phone did not work and they charged me for the amenities twice

Moldy smell

Tv did not work correctly, bathroom door wouldn’t close. Bathroom smelt moldy and lamp shades looked mouldy. Listing through VRBO charges a fee then I had to pay another fee when checking in. Front staff was very nice and lobby and pool was nice, but the room needs updating. If I did book again I would NOT book through a third party.

Cockroachs in our rooms. Room always feels damp. BOOKED THE HOTEL THROUH VRBO WITH THE EXPECTATION OF FREE PARKING BUT WAS CHARGED WHEN I ARRIVED. ALSO THE RESORT FEE WAS ALMOST DOUBLED. Asked the manager why i was charged for parking when clealy the invoice from vrbo said free parking, arefund was correctly returned. The policy had changed but was not updated quick enough on vrbo. They stood by the reservation i made a made it right.

Gym had limited machines in total and a couple of them were broken out taped together. Parking is now charged if booked after June. Thankfully I booked before. Shuttle returning from universal studios is very crowded.

I booked for 3 nights, but only stayed one night. I was very pleased with the room. Joshua at reception was extremely helpful.

Everything was awesome

This motel charges resort fees. There was water dripping through the ceiling of the breakfast area. The rooms could have a little better cleaning on the lamps and edges. The pool was nice but there is cracked and chipped cement . I was not happy at check in because you pay parking but have to go to the timeshare booth to get it validated, forcing you to talk to the time share people. The breakfast was styrofoam round eggs and they were lukewarm. I would not stay there again.

All staff I encountered were kind and courteous. The room as adequate and met expectations. If you're looking for a resort, you'll be upset, but considering the price I was extremely happy. My daughter and I saw tons of other families. However, it was so quiet at night, I slept wonderfully. It was close enough to the airport and Disney, but still seemed a bit tucked away from chaos. :-)

Check in the room was fine the next day water dripping from ceiling. Floors soaking wet. Television only had grainy picture and had to walk up close to the TV to get it to work Phone in room didn't work and when I tried to call the front desk on my cell there was no answer.

Everything was perfect for what we needed being so close to universal studios!! Pool was nice, had a great stay!

Nice and clean room. Comfortable bed! Will definitely stay again. 20 min from Magic Kingdom and Epcot

The hotel is actually a motel. It was easy to check in. It was clean. The door was ridiculously hard to open, which is probably why when we returned after our first day out, the room door was left open. Luckily nothing was taken. The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. Plan on toast, yogurt, and mini muffins, as those are the only edible items. (Unless you like Fruit Loops ). We really couldn't beat the price and location...just know what you are getting.

We had a wonderful trip. Minutes from restaurants and shopping minutes from Sea world. Its a perfect location . Only thing I didn't realize is there's no microwave in the room. We managed just fine. . The Pool floor needs some work but it was clean and refreshing. Very affordable nice for the money.

Just a time to get away and relax

I was given a dirty room, I had no time to check it out during the day because I went right into my schedule!. The room was very damp, everything felt wet! There was water condensation everywhere. When I asked for another room, I was told they were full, I waisted half the day waiting to get another room, it was dirty as well! I asked for cleaning supplies and was told that I could not clean it myself! I was also told that I had to keep the room at a certain temperature to keep the water condensation down which mean I had to stay cold in a cold damp room! I was told that I can get a refund if I couldn't be satisfied only if the people I went through would give me a refund! I was charged prior to arrival,I was also charged when I got there when all I was told is they would put a hold for my card. The only reason I didn't get another room because I was on a budget.

We came for volleyball tournament very close to convention center and Universal. Had a great stay. They have a pool, laundry, and breakfast if you like.

three roaches...no room cleaning....no new towels...I tried to iron the shirt...the plug was removed from the iron...the shower handle was broken..the safe was broken...it was the dirtiest room Ive ever stayed in. But it is a good location and inexpensive. It needs a lime scooter station out front

Rooms need to be updated, not clean enough. Rusty lamps in rooms the only good things were the beds. Used the Swimming pool one day, I told the staff of no towels I was he bin, 2 1/2 hours later I was still waiting. TV in rooms not working I had only four working channels and they were not high definition quality. Before booking your hotel I did not read the reviews. I’m sorry I didn’t do my homework thoroughly. Please don’t respond to my critique as your apologies are the same to everyone that has a negative experience you offer apologies but you don’t fix the problem. Thank you.

None of the pictures were accurate. You pay so much more for what you get. Its fine to just sleep but the rest is a lie. Very disappointed, and the breakfast was awful. The pool isnt as shown, no wifi or tv the past 2 days. Just awful and disappointed

The room was available on time and it was clean.

My room was in poor condition.the deadbolt connection was falling off of the door, so no protection there.lights were not plugged in.shower curtain rod was just about ready to fall off of the wall, exposing holes in the drywall which could have been locations for cameras. rust everywhere in the room.

It wasn't the cleanest place, wasn't the dirtiest. It was dusty and the bathroom floors werent clean. The beds were nice. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good. It was pretty close to the amusement parks. It was good for the price.

Clean and friendly place to stay close to the parks. The shuttle was convient and breakfasy was appreciated.

Inexpensive, clean hotel with free breakfast. They do offer a sale for one of thecresirts but you can skip it. Free parking.

Third year staying at this resort. The rooms are a good size, the pool is always quiet! The breakfast could use some more variety, they offer the exact same food every single day, every single year.Check in takes FOREVER, they never have enough staff on to handle the amount of people checking in. This resort is a hit for me. Great price. Breakfast included. Close to loads of restaurants and novelty shops. Close to universal, and easy to get to Disney. Gator Golf is close by, as is a Wal-Mart. The one downfall that I’ve experienced every year is that the mini fridge in the room always freezes everything, which sucks when you want to grab a few cheap salads to eat and they end up frozen.Would love a microwave in the room, but there is one in the breakfast room that you can use at any time.All in all, this resort is a great cost effective place to stay when you need to visit Orlando :)

I'm budget minded and had reasonable expectations. Staff, cleanliness, location were all great.

The hotel front desk was amazing! Very friendly. No matter what was thrown at them, they kept smiling!

Breakfast was not great images of the hotel need updating close to everything can walk to Icon park, no facilities to get showered for a late flight.

I will say right from the start, if you are going to universal and want something cheap and close to the parks than that is for you.Besides that, staff was very nice but that’s about all i could say was good. My room was pretty dirty, saw 2 cockroaches in our room, the tub was rusting at the bottom.and shower was basically broken.You get what you paid for and unless you need a cheap stay, i wouldn’t put this high on my list.You do have a Wawa across street so that’s a bonus

Staff members were nice and friendly. However the rooms were very poorly cleaned. We found a dead roach in the bathroom tub and poop in the walls under the dinner table in the room. The pool was nice but the beds were very ran down. We wanted to shorten our trip due to the poor conditions of our room.

It was not bad. ALL OF THE ELEVATORS DID NOT WORK. DURING BREAKFAST TIME NO MORE FOOD IS PUT OUT SO YOU EITHER WAKE UP EXTRA EARLY OR GET BREAKFAST ELSEWHERE. IN THE BEDROOM, IT WAS COMFORTABLE FOR 3 ADULTS (2 QUEEN BEDS) NO MICROWAVE. DOES HAVE FRIDGE. OVERALL IT WAS OKAY.

Bad customer service. Was told different answers from everyone. Room was musky and moldy. Dehumidifier in the room already shows they’re aware of the problem. Towels stained, shower drenches the floor, fridge not working.

This property was a run down hotel with old sheets, old thin towels, nasty shower, barely cleaned, no amenities at all.

After check in we were given a map for the room location on the 4th floor. We were inform to take the elevator although there were clear signs Out of Order. After returning to front desk and being assigned a new room on the first floor. My wife took a shower and then tried to arrange the bed sheets and notice some type of bugs. She immediately asked to leave that hotel. So we di.he

I truly wish I didn’t have to give a bad review, there a few good points like the staff was very friendly and courteous.

Breakfast was poor food bins constantly empty house keeping was every other day which is completely fine but never left enough towels when exchanged and always left our door open not latched when they were there! Pool was nice but they never kept enough pool towels available always was asking and waiting

Check in process took 2 hours only to get keys to 2 separate rooms that were occupied. We walked in on people in the middle of the night! Then, when we finally arrived to our third room which was unoccupied, there was a cockroach in the middle of the floor. Absolutely horrible experience.

Overall experience was good but they do need to work a little better on cleaning the rooms.

This is an independent hotel bookable through Vrbo. There is a 24/7 front desk and you can expect pretty much standard hotel amenities like a pool, free breakfast, room service, towels, fitness center, etc. It's priced well compared to other hotels in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, water pressure in the shower was terrible. Breakfast was not bad, but walking distance to Dennys or Ihop restaurant. Overall good stay...would stay again

The staff allowed me to check in an hour early with no extra cost which was very kind. The cleaner only made one of the two beds and they removed the used towels and didn’t replace them so I had to go to the front desk to request some. At that time I asked the customer service person where the laundry facilities were And they told me but failed to inform me that all but one washing machine was out of order. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable but the shower mechanics were nearly falling off. I did find trash beneath the air conditioner and the nightstand from a previous renter that the cleaners missed. The cost to stay was more then reasonable and the location was great!

Property was very clean, the breakfast was cold, pool not heated,no microwave in the room.

Check in took a long time, and TV was set up weird. They replaced TV right away. Was a great price, free shuttle to Universal Studios, and food was ok but minimal. Would stay again in future for visiting Universal.

We arrived to check in and their computers were down so it took over an hour after a long travel day to check in. It was very frustrating to say the least. The room overall wasn’t bad. The breakfast wasn’t very good barely edible. We only ate breakfast twice in our 8 day stay. Pool was overrun with kids almost continuously the whole time we were there.

Would not recommend . DEFF get what you pay for hotel, website makes it look much better then actually is. , internet sucked, breakfast was horrible, room was never vacuumed, check in took forever as only one person working with 5 people in line. Had to call house keeping to clean. Pool was freezing.

The hotel stay was good overall. No vegan options in the breakfast, charged me for extra for stuff which I didn’t use. Rooms were clean and comfy. Gym was under maintenance and washing was chargeable.

Our trip was ruined because i tried to extend our trip by one day. I went to the desk to do this and was told i had to do this on line, they couldn't help me. I tried to to it online but made a mistake.

From start to finish my experience at this place was great. He king in was easy and quick, had plenty of trip ideas for me and my son, the room was clean and taken care of. Room service helped us daily and cleaned the room. How anybody could give this place a bad review is insane. I was worried after reading reviews but this place went above and beyond.

Good location.

Room was ok. Main thing was i tried to extend our stay by one day. I was staying 1/11 to 1/14. Was told by the desk clerk that i had to make the reservation online. I tried making a reservation 1/15 to 1/16. Which i did. When i went to the desk the next dayi found out that i had made a mistake. I now had no place to stay on the night of the 14th . She could not change anything or refund or cancel my reservation. I dont think this is anyway to do business do

Sub Standard. We found flies and worms in our original room. The heat would not work either. They moved us to another room. No flies but found worms on the floor. Pathetic.

It was okay

Our room was great clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was great as well.But i tried doing some laundry and needed change whitch the front desk didn't have told me a time they would have it but then didn't so i ended up having to go across the st to get some whitch wasn't a big deal. but then when i used the dryer the venting wasn't hooked up properly so the whole room got damp making it take a long time to dry the clothes.Also the laundry room was pretty dirty. Other then needing to do laundry our stay was great!

Took over an hour of waiting in the lobby to be able to check in, got to our room there was stains everywhere. Had to ask multiple times to have the shears changed because they were not clean. The best part was the relative closeness to universal. The shuttles also only run once a day late in the morning and back later afternoon, like 6 pm.

I only stayed one night it was nice and quiet. Just what the host advised.

Grand Hotel was OK. Not a Hotel as the name indicates. Motel with outdoor access. They serve breakfast, but limited offering. They ran out of juice and had nothing but water and milk. No Coffee the morning we did try to eat breakfast. We didn’t try to eat again. The room was clean. The beds were good. Older facility, but it was OK

It’s a little dated, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was ok it’s in a great location. Don’t expect 5 star, but it is excellent for 75 a night plus 15.00 for a fee for something they add.

The TV didn't work, and never came to look or replace it and remote was taped together. Good location.

It ok

We were forced to cancel our plans due to Hurricane Milton. We were graciously granted a cancellation (after the scheduled cancellation deadline b/c of the hurricane) by the Grand Orlando Hotel (where our reservation was made). Vrbo graciously refunded our paymetnt.

This palace cancelled our booking without any notice,we got there at 1:30 in the morning,only what they said,Sorry! unbelievable.
