Stayed Apr 30, 2025This unit is near the bus stop where we go to the NOLA Jazzfest each year. It’s also near great restaurants and neighborhoods.The unit is in fair condition but needs some freshening up.The area is very loud with construction, traffic, and street noises. Even louder than that is HVAC. When the air handler comes on it’s like a freight train. Overall I would give it a B.While I was booking it the price changed from what was quoted to an amount that was substantially more. I questioned the person I was communicating with and he blamed in on an algorithm. As I was late booking the unit I went forward. The price went up 20% while I was accepting the offer they made through VRBO. I will never do business with Hosteeva again after the” bait and switch “maneuver.

Stayed Mar 23, 2025PROS:Communication was clearly automated but timely and thorough. The property was well located for activities in the French Quarter and the Garden District. The trolley heading west or north is a block or two away. The apartment is higher enough so our window looked out toward the French Quarter. Despite being close to bustling Canal Street, we did not hear noise from the street.The property was as it appeared and was clean. The TV was huge. The kitchen has a basic stock of plates and silverware, pots and pans, coffee maker (not a Keurig, thank God) a blender, but nothing else. There was some coffee and filters, but that may have been luck from a previous guest. I was hoping there would at least be salt, pepper, and a sponge for the sink, but there wasn't. You won't be able to store luggage after checking out at 10 am; they will direct you to a 3rd party app to find storage in N.O.CONS:The building's front door does not lock properly unless one physically resets the electric. Anyone could enter the building. BUT, each room has it's own electronic lock. We had no problems. The sink in the bathroom only emits a slight stream of hot water. The biggest problem was that the washer and dryer do not work. The washer does NOT spin so the clothes remain soaking wet. Additionally, the dryer worked for about 20 minutes and then refused to work. We had to hang our soaking clothes in the closet with the fan blowing on them all day in order to dry them. That was a real pain.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025Great location! Only issue was the TV didn’t work and when I reached out for assistance, was never contacted. Not a really big deal, but to advertise access to streaming services and it not work, well, my wife was a little peeved about it. We couldn’t even get local channels through the antenna. Again, not a big deal, but to not get a response back is not good business, in my opinion…

Stayed Jan 15, 2025The apartment was as described. The location was walkable and close to downtown area, buses, streetcars, etc. It was a safe area. Would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed Nov 2, 2024Overall a good experience but issues with washer (does not spin clothes) and iron (moldy), previously report by others, have yet to be addressed. Location enabled convenient access to French Quarter, waterfront, restaurants, trolley, etc.

Stayed May 26, 2024Nice place to stay but there were no wash cloths or hand towels provided. When I called about it, the person on the phone would only say that they would check and if they are provided to she would get back to me. She never got back to me and those items were not provided. Other linens were provided and another couple traveling with us and staying at the same building were provided those items. The bed and sofa need to be replaced as they are worn out. Otherwise, this was a very nice clean place and a short walk to the French Quarter. And it was not as noisy as I thought it would be . You do hear some things but overall, not bad.

Stayed Mar 31, 2024This was a great place to stay. Close to everything we wanted to do. The only complaint we had was the washer didn’t spin out the clothes, so it took two hours to dry. Otherwise, highly recommend this condo.
