Beach Vacation! Near Clearwater Beach, Pool, Bar, Free Buffet Breakfast

Our room was the view of the pool. We enjoyed our stay but I should have researched the area better because we brought our toy poodle (7lbs) dogs aren’t allowed in the pool area or the beach ! The resort was pet friendly to stay in our room. Our room was very nice! Breakfast buffet was very good!

The staff at the springhill suites, including housekeeping, were attentive, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed the full complimentary breakfast each day and the large spacious lobby. It was located across from the beach in a very walkable neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby.

Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet was very good! The close proximity to the beach, restaurants and entertainment was very convenient.

We were told one price for pet fee and then when we got there to check in they told us it would be three times as much after we had already booked and paid. We didn’t stay there and found a different hotel that was just as nice and with the pet fee was almost 100 less. I have NO problem paying a pet fee as we travel with our dog all the time but was caught off guard when I was told one price and then when I get there it’s so much more.

Extremely clean, well maintained, like a studio, but is a hotel. All staff friendly and accommodating. Can walk anywhere from the facility.

Place was very clean and staff made you feel welcome! Relaxing by the pool was just want we needed durning the day and walking pier 60 and watching the sunset was amazing. Our room ended up having a balcony and it was great! Definitely close to everything all shops, bars and the beach!

The staff takes great care to make sure the hotel is always clean and rooms are well stocked with towels and blankets .. very comfortable beds . Staff is very responsive to any needs. It was a great stay!

Everything was fantastic. I just wish you didn’t have to only do valet parking, I wish I could’ve just taken care of parking myself.

The hotel was beautiful, right in the heart of clearwater beach. The surf shop is right across the street from the hotel and its a huge store. Walk right through that and youre on the beach.Im gonna come back next year and stay at the same spot..it was perfect.On the downside, theres no free parking no where in the area. So get ready to pay 38 per night vallet parking.

We had a great relaxing time, close to everything, didn't have to drive anywhere all weekend. The breakfast is great as well, I recommend getting there early, it gets busy!

Booked a room with a King size bed, 3 months in advance. When arrived to check in we were notified that they did not have a king room but they had to put us in a doulde queen room. They acted like it was an upgrade because it had a balcony. If i cared about a balcony I would have chose that, I cared about the size of the bed. Checked in anyhow with no other option. Then the great upgrade of the balcony...1st morning onsite we woke up to extremely loud machinery noise outside, before 7am, went to investigate and all of the exterior of the building and balconies were being powerwashed, on a Saturday morning before 7am. Luckily we had no personal items on balcony, but several neighborhoods did, unlucky for them, as no guests were notified in advance. They were kind enough to comp us 1 night of valet parking...31. Will not stay at this hotel again ever. Im sure this host attempted their best to communicate with hotel, hotel didnt seem to care about guests.

The room & hotel were very clean, and well maintained. Most staff were helpful and kind to us. We very much enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back again.

Clean, great breakfast and super friendly staff

Upon arrival, we discovered that my son had to sleep on the sofa bed. Unfortunately, the sofa mattress was in extremely poor condition—stained and visibly dirty. This is simply unacceptable for any guest.Additionally, one night when we returned to our room, we found that most of the electrical outlets were no longer working. The refrigerator had turned off, causing our food to spoil. The microwave was non-functional, and we were unable to charge our phones. We called the front desk twice in an attempt to resolve the issue. After much insistence, the problem was finally fixed around 1:00 a.m., which significantly disrupted our rest.The following day, I raised the issue again with the front desk, but the manager informed me there was nothing she could do as the property was operated by a third party. The only compensation provided was a refund for the parking voucher, which does not begin to address the inconvenience we experienced.I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and the poor condition of the accommodations. I respectfully request a full or partial refund for this stay, given the unacceptable circumstances and the impact it had on our trip.I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.

Our recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and deeply uncomfortable. Upon arrival to our room on the second day, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working. When we notified the front desk, we were told the hotel was sold out and that no alternative rooms were available.A maintenance person came to our room that evening and advised us to pack up because we would be moved. We packed and waited for over two hours, only to be told later that there were, in fact, no rooms to move to. During this interaction, the maintenance man repeatedly referred to me inappropriately as “baby” and “momma,” and shockingly made a sexual proposition, saying he could “offer his love” to make up for the inconvenience. This behavior was completely unprofessional and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.When I brought this to the attention of Chris Hammons, the general manager, he told me he didn’t believe that any of this happened. He also stated that one night’s compensation was sufficient because we didn’t move rooms when asked—ignoring the fact that it was the hotel’s own staff who caused the confusion and delay, and that this was the final day of our vacation. We didn’t want to waste more of our time waiting around on an unguaranteed room change.There was no empathy, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. The lack of professionalism, disregard for guest safety, and the dismissive attitude of hotel management is unacceptable.

Great little retreat and perfect location!!We normally stay at the Hyatt or Wyndham but Spring Hill fit us in. I have been staying on Clearwater Beach for over 30 yrs and had no idea that Spring Hill Marriott existed. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and service was fantastic! We looked forward to Erica and the impeccable service she provided us. She worked so hard every morning to make sure the dining area was clean and all guests were taken care of. I am sure many others played a roll in breakfast delivery but my wife and I noticed her everyday because she was all over the place and every guest were left with a smile as big as hers. She deserves to be commended and if not the manager, she should be. I asked to speak to the manager to give him/her my feedback and to my surprise, the manager does not show up to the party until breakfast is over. Hmmm. I have 5 restaurants and my managers are always available DURING service not after. But, he/she fortunate to have Jose and Erica to keep everyone happy. We also enjoyed the entertainment and housekeeping staff.Thank you from a 5 star review guestLarry .

The listing on VRBO did NOT make it clear this was simply a Marriott Residence Inn hotel. Had we known, we would NOT have booked this location. It was full of travel sports teams, crowded, loud, and accommodations basic. Location was convenient to the beach and some restaurants, but having to go down the elevator to the ground level from the lobby every time was annoying.

Beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect but disappointed the swimming pool wasn't warm enough to swim in.

Property is a Spring Hill Suites. Excellent location with easy access to beach. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

Great hotel very clean close to beach and restaurants

This is a hotel. I did not realize this until I checked in. As hotels go it was fine. My only issue was the pool. It states in the listing that the pool is heated. It was not. Despite several conversations with hotel staff and VRBO representative it never resolved. I was told several times that the heat was working but it was cold. Every time I brought it up I was given another reason why the pool could be cold. They insisted that it was heated. I am very tolerant of the cold and will swim everyday in the ocean, the pool was colder than the ocean in February so there was no way the heat was working properly. This was disappointing to me because after a day of swimming in the ocean I like to relax in a pool as the day ends and we could not do that. I had expected the pool to be heated because the listing said it was so this is a false statement. And I never felt like anybody wanted to fix this situation.

The cost to park the vehicle was 38 plus tax, that put it at 40 per day. It is mandatory Valey parking, so there is no option. 40 per day is too much. The breakfast food buffet is nicely presented and offers a variety, but is the same quality at hotels at less than half the cost. All in all the value does not seem to be equal to the cost of approx 400 a day (plus parking) for a small room with uncomfortable stained furniture (but the bed was very comfortable) The following comment about the beach area, no reflection on the hotel. Suggest a public awareness campaign to halt the practice of feeding the seagulls on the beach. They have become very aggressive when open a snack, so annoying. This is a huge problem that makes the beach visit so unpleasent. The clearwater chamber of commerce should be all over this. This is the primary reason we will not return. It is completely out of hand.

Affordable, convenient, safe location that allowed us to enjoy the best of Clearwater Beach.

Traffic is an issue for all hotels in the area. Otherwise you'll be pleased at this property. Not right on the beach but you're still right there at a fraction of the cost. The elevator rides in some hotels are longer than the walk to the beach from here.

The place was beautiful and the breakfast was great the rooms were clean the bed was comfortable the showers were wonderful the swimming pool was super

While we booked this thru VRBO we didn't realize it was a hotel but it worked out great and was nice and clean.

Clean suite with king bed! Bed was a little hard but we are use to a topper. Loved the sitting area with comfortable couch and cushioned coffee table. The tray on the cushioned coffee table was a great asset as we used it to keep essentials at hand! Bathroom was exceptionally clean with a relaxing warm shower after a day at the beach! The hotel pool was great too. Elevators were fast and valet service was excellent! Thank you for making our vacation pleasurable!
