It sucked. Room was lousy. Nothing like pictures when I booked. Upon entering, room was extremely stuffy. We could not control temperature. The big bed was uncomfortable from sitting. The 2nd bed was discribed as a double sofa bed. My friend who is 5'7 had his legs hanging. Worst ever.

Check-in process was pretty easy and room was reasonably well furnished. But I saw 3 cockroaches and it took 20+ minutes for the water in the shower to hit lukewarm. It’s an old building dressed up to be cute. Worth it for the location maybe depending on your plans. When I texted about an early check-in, I got no response. Ended up being able to check in about an hour or two early but only knew that when I got texted at the time.

This cute little hotel is located very close to the Chinatown gates, bus stops, restaurants. There is a little market up the road for some groceries and cold wine/beer. The pub next door has good food. It is an older building with a narrow winding staircase, but it does have an elevator. It does not have that old building smell, though! The room is spacious with large openable windows (no A/C). The sofabed in this suite is incredibly uncomfortable and needs replacing. Fortunately I only had to sleep on it 2 of the nights! The actual bed is very comfortable, with nice bedding. There is water and coffee, toaster and microwave in the lobby/lounge area. Management is responsive to inquiries. The local transit is fantastic ($5 for a day pass) and makes getting to points of interest quick and easy.

This is more for a couple or individual. Shower Water was cold. Water pressure was bad. Shower head was in a terrible spot and the shower was messy. Great location, parking outside wasn't so bad, just read the signs. Place was clean. The Shower was very unfortunate.

Situated in an area where one would expect to pay more, within walking distance to Chinatown and Union Square. A few, minor improvements are needed: poor heating, blinds don’t block enough sunlight, sleeper sofa is extremely small, and both the sofa and bed could be more comfortable. Biggest downfall are no hot water (tepid at best), loud outdoor traffic. On the plus side, management replies quickly and rooms are clean

We enjoyed the space and the location that was approximate to everything we were interested in. The radiators look like they no longer work and there is a thermostat on the wall that seems to control something, but there was no heat of any kind. We found a very small space heater in the closet that we used on the second night, but it is a very old building and it happened to be very cold out when we were there. The hot water is also coming from very far away, so takes a long time.

While I can understand that repairs need to be done at no point during our stay did the hotel have heat. When I reached out, I was told that I could get a space heater from the front desk, but there was no space heater at the front desk. Then I was told that the heat was under repair and they would bring us extra blankets. They did, in fact, bring extra blankets, which was very helpful while sleeping, and thankfully we did not spend a lot of time in the room outside of that. The shower took 15+ minutes to warm up to the point where you could stand in the water. Additionally, the futon type furniture in the living room was sold as a place to sleep, but it was not designed as something to be slept on. I was told by the contact that we had that due to the heat mixup we would receive a 10% discount. That never occurred. I would absolutely not stay there again. Despite the fact that the location was perfect for us.
