A Cozy Respite... in a central, unique and historic neighborhood in New Orleans!

Monique was responsive and accommodating. She allowed us an early check in. The home was clean and although some may say it’s in an unsafe neighborhood the home is gated and we felt fine. Please be aware that this home is a bit small so I would only recommend it to a couple or someone visiting solo. There’s also no kitchen but she does provide a toaster oven and mini fridge. The TV is also not up to date and we had wished there was a smart TV to keep us entertained during our downtime. The rest of the home is beautifully remodeled and you can tell Monique put in a lot of time to complete this home.

Very clean and very well designed. The property is excellent! The only thing is the area didn't feel very safe, so we didn't walk to and from the centre. Bus very close and Uber rather cheap. So no problems 😃

Price is far too much for the space. It's literally a bedroom. The host stays on the property to micro manage your activity. I was not able to enjoy my vacation due to being messaged constantly about my smoking a cigarette outside. Also not located close to the French quarter at all. It's like a 20 minute drive. I end up leaving the room early and staying at the Wyndham, which was wayyy bigger and actually around the corner from bourbon street.

My stay was wonderful! The host was well prepared to receive guest and very responsive. Nearby public transportation will carry you straight to the French Quarter and you will not be disappointed with your stay. All the special and small touches made my stay unforgettable. I will stay here again.

Quiet safe neighborhood, good communication with host. We brought our Amazon Fire Stick for the TV.

Nice lil small oven fridge fit what we needed . Very small cute clean place with her attention to small details fo comfort of home. Has snacks coffee and teas Kleenex / like hotel so it’s a good option but parking on the road was not something we wanted to do so she let us park beside the house behind the gate I’m grateful. The fan turns high or low or off with each channel you turn the tv. No premium channels and seems to have pixels a lot . Nice outdoor chairs and sunlight hit just right. Neighbor waved/ seems nice. Area is different than what I’m used to so I probably will get something with less houses around it next time but the area is crowded in New Orleans so it’s typical. Clean place is what’s key. Wish I could have adjusted air as it got a bit hot but fan helped and humidifier / WiFi worked. Shower was cute and very spacious. Bed was soft. Kinda hot but think that the plastic liner on the bed made us sweat. And with the fan not working correctly remember to use the wall remote to correct it. Bus at Sunoco takes ya to French quarters but I didn’t wanna walk there because it looked dangerous to cross so we drove in and paid 22 dollars for three hours to park. They only take google pay or Apple Pay so be ready to be adding a card to your phone.

Our stay was great, everything was nice and clean. Mrs Monique was very nice and suggested a few good restaurants. Our stay was very nice 10/10 will most definitely book again on our next visit

False advertising. The unit was half the size as described. Our luggage would not have fit. Neither my husband nor I could access the door lock, the host had to do it. Because of what appeared to us as an unsafe neighborhood, we did not stay, and it was NOT in walking distance to anything. The host will not refund our money.

Nice clean property. Good communication. Area was bad. Had to park on the side of the street where there were cars constantly coming despite there being a drive way. Didn’t feel safe staying in that area. 7th ward.

The host was very welcoming and quick with responding to my questions. Great location close to the city. The set up was a nice cozy vibe. The only problem I had with my stay was how uncomfortable the bedding was and unable to adjust the temperature in the room. It was super hot all night the fan in the room was no help.

The host was welcoming and helpful. I originally went to the wrong location. I was a block off, but she was very friendly and kind. Very cozy apartment. I look forward to staying here again.

The space was as shown in the listing. The space was cramped but two people could work around one another. All amenities were in good condition. It’s important to know there is not a kitchen sink. The mattress sagged badly in the middle making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Good access to highway 10. Please upgrade to 2-ply tissue in the bathroom. Makes a more classy impression believe it or not.

Room was clean, well designed and decorated. Perfect for a couple for a weekend getaway. Centrally located, we were minutes from the French Quater, City Park, Uptown, or the Lakefront. Would love to stay here again.

Everything was great, Monique leaves snacks and coffee, she thought of everything, even let us sit under her mom's canopy to smoke, Thank you mom. Cute little cozy room. Not to bad getting to Canal street and everything else that New Orleans has to offer. Great place, when we come back to New Orleans we will be looking to stay here again. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at this place in New Orleans. The space was clean, well-kept, and exactly as described. One of the things we appreciated most was that the property was gated—it added a level of comfort and security that made us feel at ease throughout our stay.The host was great with communication and provided clear, detailed instructions for check-in, as well as all the information we needed to make the most of our time there. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this place to others visiting New Orleans!

Monique is a wonderful host, very friendly and is a quick responder with a lot of details to go with every message.The room was clean and quaint and we were very happy with what we got. It was perfect for us to sleep and shower. The bed was super comfy and the additional microwave, coffee maker and fridge was so nice to have. No complaints at all!I will say that this is not the safest neighborhood to he in but we did not have any problems with security and safety. You’re only 8 minutes outside of the French Quarters so you can easily uber there and get a cab.Thank you so much, we had a wonderful time!

Comfortable stay. Instructions were pretty clear. The place was accommodating. The host was very easy to talk to aswell.

First off, the house and grounds are lovely. You can see they put alot into renovations, and take great care. Its secure and private as well, and really clean. Overall I'd recommend. The only detractors for this unit is that its a bit tight for more than one person. I traveled with my son, and didnt realize we actually booked a 1 bdrm, but we made it work. But its perfect for a couple or single traveler. Monique was thoughtful and responsive. Bonus points for good taste in art and books! I'd stay again on an adult-only trip for sure. Some tips: get the Jazzy Pass, its 3 for all transit. The 55 bus takes you right to the french quarter, the stop is just 2 blocks away, and is nice and quick. Also there's a direct transit (202) to the airport that connects with the 55, Really easy to get around, and folks are super sweet and helpful.

We stayed 6 days, was close to the French Quarter which is where we started most days. Neighborhood was quiet (with the exception of New Year’s Eve of course). Our host was very helpful in recommending places to eat and the best ways to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed at this property for a short time, but it was a very nice, quiet area close to everything you want to see in the city!

Great place to stay for a little weekend trip.

Property Manager/Property was great!!! Last minute booking. In and out for an overnight stay due to traveling. This Property offered just enough space and the price was great. I would definitely stay/recommend this Property.

You will be happy to know that there is a gate, it felt necessary. Overall a decent room, but as tourists, it is in an unsettling area, as described unprompted by every Uber driver that picked us up or dropped us off throughout the weekend. It was only a 10-15 minute drive to the best of what the city has to offer, which is most likely where you’ll spend your time! We didn’t meet Monique but she was very quick with communication. Nice bathroom but shower had a drainage issue. Would not suggest to solo female travelers.
