Villa Capriani - Ocean Front resort- King Suite#1-Sleep 3 adults & 1 child

Our host Frank was quick to reach out and provided an excellent tour. The cabinet of beach supplies was fantastic - no need to bring sand toys or beach chairs from home. Resort facilities were nice. Apartment was good. Nothing fancy but suitable for a few days away. Kitchenette is in a sliding door closet, okay for quick meals. We ate dinners out so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Really great location and a budget accommodation. Thanks, Frank!

Just what we needed! Pool was sparkling clean.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Frank’s flexibility and hospitality. We made a quick trip and had all we needed for a comfortable visit. Easy beach access, adequate accommodations and pet friendly. We would definitely stay here again in the future

This was my first stay in North Topsail. The beach views were fantastic. I was not around to walk on the beach as I was there for work in Topsail Island. The host was excellent and eager to please. A/C was good even if it was a bit confusing to figure out. I loved hearing the ocean at night while going to sleep. The unit just needs a bit up upkeep and it was challenging maneuvering around the bed to get to the mini kitchen area.

Host was wonderful.

While the condo duplex itself was nice, this particular room was not. It doesn't have a sofa or dining table. The kitchenette is tucked behind a set of bunk beds and only has a tiny sink, microwave and a little bitty stove thing but no pots and pans or cooking utensils. Even if there were, and you did cook, the sink isn't big enough to wash dishes. There is no deck or patio. While the view is nice, the windows were dirty and wouldn't stay open. The white comforter on the king bed was dingy. The air return and air filter looked like they haven't been cleaned/changed in years. The pools and hot tubs were nice. The host was friendly and gave us a tour of the place at check-in. Although very kind, we prefer places that have self check-in. For the low price, the place was decent enough, but I wouldn't stay there again. I'd rather pay more and have a usable kitchen, a sofa, and somewhere to sit and eat.

Everything was great. Stayed there for a Class Reunion and it was perfect.

Oh I just loved my stay at North Topsail Beach at the Villa Capriani with my husband and 2 kids!! The owner was so friendly and helpful. It was easy to book and the view and location was just gorgeous. Walk to the beach, pool for adults and kids and a hot tub. What more could you ask for? It was relaxing and that's what we wanted relaxation. It made it feel like you're at home. They had everything you may need beach gear and all. I loved that part! We as a family will definitely be back!

Very out dated! Roaches. Small, no balcony. Would not recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was a smaller lockout unit in a larger suite- this made staying at the Villa Capriani very affordable. The unit had two rooms, a bathroom and a mini kitchenette. The mini kitchen was great for reheating food and basic breakfast and lunch items. It would be tricky to cook a full meal, but with the cost savings of the unit, we went out to eat more. You can’t beat the location! The king sized bed was very comfortable. Our son enjoyed the bunk beds and watching tv from the top bunk. The AC worked great throughout the entire unit. The washer/dryer was convenient. For the most part the unit was quiet unless someone was talking in the entrance hallway. We put a towel at the bottom of the door at night to block the light. Great for a small family with younger kids. You do need to walk through the bedroom with the bunk beds to get to the bathroom. Convenient having a restaurant on site, the pools were fun and beach access was great! The restaurant has an entire gluten free menu and the most amazing gluten free boom-boom shrimp ever! The host Frank was awesome! He met us at check-in to take us to the unit and show us around the Villa. He’s very laid back and responsive to texts.Checkout was super easy, instructions very uncomplicated and nothing unreasonable. We’d love to return next summer!

Dirty place to stay but nice resort.

Our family stayes for a week and we loved it. Frank is incredibly accommodating and always responsive.

We enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was right there. The owner even met me in the rain to make sure we were squared away for our stay and that we knew how to get around. Very courteous and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay again.

The property was close to the wedding venue. Property was just as expected and was a good value for the cost of the rental. Had several relaxing pool areas, access to the beach, and an excellent onsite restaurant.

Beautiful location the pools were clean and enjoyable with the beach access being immediately accessible. Only suggestion I would make is for our specific rooms. There was no seating space to eat. It was just kitchen and beds. A couple chairs, and a small table or some TV trays would’ve been nice. However, for the price, can’t beat it.

Wonderful place to stay on the beach for a great price. Our family of 4 had 2 separate spaces to sleep, small kitchenette was just right and the amenities of Villa Capriani are great.Frank made check in a breeze and made us feel at ease.We will definitely return!

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway on a budget for my small family. The private beach access was wonderful and the kids loved the pool! Room is definitely older but very clean and well maintained. With family in the area we will definitely be back!

We had a smooth check in and great communication from Frank. The facility itself was nice and the rental unit was perfect for us. Two adults and one teen. The kitchen area was useful and clean. Especially the bathroom was spotless! The towels are a little worn and the baseboards are dusty but that’s just splitting hairs. We would like to return. A very good value.

Weekend

The space was the right size for the two of us. The kitchen was small but adequate for breakfast and lunch. Additional pots and pans would be helpful and a new can opener is needed. We were on the second floor and the broken elevator was a definite problem since we are above age 70 and carrying suitcases and other belongings up the steps was very troublesome.

Frank was an outstanding host. He was kind enough to give us a tour of the grounds and give us suggestions on what to . The room was exactly as pictured and facilities were very nice. Can't wait to book again warmer weather.

We loved the location right on the beach and easy access to the pools. Frank was great giving us the tour and welcoming us for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great will definitely be back

Our family doesn't travel often and when we do travel we don't travel very far. The unknowns of where to park/eat/visit are usually enough to keep us from booking trips, but when we were invited to a wedding that was 9 hours from our home we knew we would likely need to muscle through it. Our friend recommended booking a condo through the VRBO app. We're glad we did! Frank was so helpful with letting us know everything we needed to know up front and answering the few questions we had so quickly that I was surprised at how easy it was to book the trip and be done with the process without a lot of runaround or hassle. Communication was perfectly timed as our trip grew near, and instructions were simple and clear so that when we arrived after driving almost 10 hours it was easy to check in and settle. Frank was very warm, helpful and friendly...and remained so through our stay as we shared updates with him and fun pics of things we had done that he'd recommended. It felt almost like staying with extended family. The room was super clean, comfortable and accommodating with everything we needed and more. The pool area was fun to splash around in, and access to the beach was so easy that we ended up spending more time there than we'd originally planned. We look forward to booking trips here and are excited to have a destination for future travel!

we expected an one-room oceanview balcony for our romantic getaway. This is not that - it is a tiny room, view of other townhomes, no balcony...it is a lock-out for a larger unit. we stayed two minutes and asked for a full refund. We would appreciate your help to get our refund. We were mislead.
